NGA2 steakhouse and grill

Had a surf and turf for my main and crab cakes for my appetizer. I will be back for sure.

I had tomahawk and lobster and it was amazing would highly recommend

We visited NGA2 for the first time and were excited to try the tomahawk steak. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite live up to expectations—it was chewy, had a lot of fat, and seemed a bit dry. The mashed potatoes were bland and lacked seasoning.

The truffle fries were also disappointing—most were short and broken, like they came from the bottom of the bag. The lobster tail tasted like it had been frozen rather than fresh, which was a letdown. Dessert was the cheesecake, which was just okay—nothing bad, but also nothing memorable.

Service was a bit on the slower side—not necessarily surprising, as the restaurant seems to lean toward a more relaxed, drawn-out dining experience. But my wife and I are more of a “eat good and leave” kind of couple, so the pacing didn’t really match what we prefer.

Overall, while the food was decent, it didn’t feel like a fine dining experience. For the price point and presentation, we expected more in terms of quality and attention to detail. Not a bad spot, but not one we’re rushing back to either.

Pretty bad experience in terms of food, was here for almost an hour and a half waiting for entrees . Got food orders wrong and cannot handle rush hour

Came on a whim while in town for a wedding. Insanely good food - like best steak you've ever had good. Even the salmon won over my husband who doesn't like fish. GO HERE!

We gave a try to this place and it was good. Very tasty and juicy steak in almost perfect temperature that we loved. We are gonna try again soon.

First time coming to this restaurant for my birthday. We got the tomahawk steak (not explicitly on the menu they only have so many available in the day) let me tell you it was 100% worth every penny. It’s a long weekend and the owner/chef and his wife were working and served our table and they are both so lovely. Please check this place out. The food, quality, and service is absolutely a treat. I got a lovely cheesecake for my birthday and I’m telling you to run to this place you won’t regret a second (or dollar) you spend here.

The food and service was exceptional! Highly recommend if you are in the area. 20 minute drive from Niagara Falls and it was well worth this wonderful meal.

I am almost reluctant to review this for fear when others find HOW GREAT THIS PLACE IS, I will never be able to reserve a table again. 7/7 experiences that just keep getting better. I have taken friends who are now recommending it to their friends. Chef Nganga is a unparalleled craftsman with spices. His devotion to fine cuisine with his own distinctive flair makes it worth the drive to St Catherines.
Simply stated it is the price point of The Keg, but it is as far above the Keg in quality and experience as the Keg is above McDonalds.

Food was great, service was good, i did wait a while to be seated. While waiting to be seated at the front entrance, I was yelled at from across the room, and asked if i needed assistance. Entering a restaurant this was not the correct approach for welcoming a customer. Aside service was lovely. The menu was wonderful and i did love the blend between food cultures , it was exceptional.

Got the steak+lobster and jerk chicken
Steak was cooked excellent, love the grill flavor. Lobster was fresh, firm, tender and juicy.
The jerk chicken was a bit too spicy for us, Still very well done.
Service was great.
