Very friendly with nice options and good food.

So good!!! Special of the day was a peach jalapeño grilled cheese. I was incredulous of the combination but my husband ordered it. It was surprisingly amazing. I got the BLT with bacon jam. Messy but so tasty!

Amazing vegan place. Great service. We had our dog with us and sat in the outside chair. The food was amazing. We got the grilled cheese.

Was impressive vegan/ gluten free menu. However when I went (celiac) their gluten free fryer was down.

The gluten free meals without deep frying tasted ok. Despite the meal being “ok” I went back to try a snickers gluten free brownie…Which was very think- almost like a thick sugary fudge.
After the meal with my family I came back in to get the gf brownie thing. I was given the wrong flavour which I noticed was the wrong flavour once I walked back to my car. I walked back to the restaurant to take back the wrong flavour. When I came by the guy took back the incorrect one, and provided me with the wrong flavour.

Feel like there was room of improvement for the gluten free meals— whoever may be better options when the deep fryer is working.

Bathroom didn’t seem accessible to those who could not do stairs.

On the plus side, it was truly gluten free food which was very appreciated.

Food was delicious! The chipotle mayo is a must try! The owner is just the sweetest. And check out their darling antique salt and pepper shakers while you are there. My kids definitely had their favorites!

I came downtown with my children for the downtown block party where it was very very hot. My daughter got overheated in-front of a few tents on St. Paul st, where she would have fainted, several folks assisted us and the kind people at Rise Above came over and offered for us to rest in their cool restaurant and offered my daughter ice water and food. I cannot say how much I appreciate this kindness. I cannot recommend this establishment enough.

The food they gave us was outstanding, as a happy bonus. We will be back! Thank you again, we won’t ever forget the incredible kindness you showed my daughter.

Came for lunch after visiting Niagara Falls. We ordered the buffalo wings and spinach artichoke dip as our appetizers. Both were delicious. For lunch my fiancé ordered the Halloumi Hot Honey sandwich. The waitress informed us that they were out of the bacon jam so she replaced it with bacon. I ordered the souvlaki bowl. We both enjoyed our meals and had leftovers. Prices were a bit high but portions were large.

Mom, son, and I are all vegan and made a trip to Toronto/Niagara for a little vegan foodie weekend. We were very excited for the pesto grilled cheese, Snickers copycat dessert, etc. unique stuff we don't have at home. We got caught up in Toronto traffic, tried to call 45 minutes ahead of closing time to order carryout, got no answer, made it there with 10 minutes to spare according to their posted hours, but they turned us away saying they were already closed. I almost cried 😩. The person closing was kind at least.

I love coming here, the pesto grilled sandwich was good with the soup of the day, eggplant parmigiana was really good. Though I miss they used to do more drink options. Kale smoothie and all that, maybe due to weather their menu’s been changed I still recommend this restaurant

Love this place! While visiting the area we ate here 3 days in a row because it was so good. The staff was helpful and friendly. Great options and delicious food from start to finish. They have great seitan. Highly recommend the whiskey peach tea, watermelon greek salad, street corn gnocchi and the raspberry nanaimo. If you love ganache, get the nanaimo!

Food so good we drove 20+ minutes 3 days in a row to eat here. All vegan menu with great offerings and specials. Pictured is the sweet potato burger burger and the jerk chicken bowl (special) the house made jerk sauce is one of the best jerk seasonings I've ever had, and the Seiten was cooked expertly. The waitstaff was also great. Would recommend to anyone in the area. They also offer freezer/fridge to go food items and offer the house made sauces to go.

Food is tasty but mostly diner food. (Beyond Meat options, vegan cheeses, toasties, wraps...) Overall it was good and has a decent selection but it would be good to see.more healthy options. The prices of desserts were very overpriced imo. Really good service too.

We had stuffed mushrooms, falafel plate, grilled cheese and poutine. The mushrooms and the falafel were delicious. The grilled cheese was ok, for the poutine it was made with potatoe wedges that were slightly undercooked.

A very nice place, smaller menu which means they know what theyre doing.
The food was amazing as was the service.
We're not vegan, and were recommended the place. We were not disappointed. Great taste and prices. Would be happy to go again.
The staff were helpful with suggestions and explanations.
