I had to try this place out after seeing a few of the negative reviews about price and portion size. I work 2 minutes away, had a big breakfast earlier, and was ready for a disaster :p.I had the 9.99 combo, which is a chicken shwarma wrap, fries, and a drink. The chicken shwarma is 6.99 on it's own. To put that into perspective, it's cheaper than a big mac. I've had much larger shwarma wraps before, but at twice the price. The chicken shwarma was delicious, and I picked from very fresh toppings. I likely could have had a second wrap, but as soon as I saw that it was 6.99, I already knew I could likely eat 2.My takeaways from this place are that the food is fresh, tastes great, portion to cost ratio makes this a cheaper option for a lunch, and it's clean inside (I dined in, which I rarely do).

The worst restaurant in the area. There are better restaurants than this. I bought from this restaurant and the food was bad and I did not finish it and it caused me problems and I missed work. There are better restaurants where you can pay money to get quality food and the employee doesn't care about the cleanliness of the

Been coming here since I was a Brock student when it was Called shawarma house. It is now called Shawarma zoom, with the same owner. The food quantity has decreased slightly, but so has everything today only the prices have gone up. I am glad to report the cost of food here has remained reasonable. The place is ran by one guy and sometimes you may encounter his wife or young kids spending time with him. He is there day and night, and works hard 7 days a week. Super friendly guy and while times are hard, he tries his best. Much better than the chain shawarma's you can buy, and honestly whenever I return to St. Catharines I usually always pass in for one.Owner is a nice dude, but his face look like he has worries. He is out here trying to earn an honest dollar, so his place is worth going for the quality of food and service that I would say he over delivers on.10/10 from me. This spot looks a little hole in the wall, but that's what makes it good. I hope he always remains here, because I need my shawarma when I come to town!!

Most average shawarma I have ever had. Taste and quantity NOT worth the money at all. I wish I had a picture to prove it but it was so so average I did not feel like taking a picture lol. Took chicken shawarma and beef shawarma on potatoes. NOT at all worth it.Dont fall for the good reviews here guys.Trust me, I dont gain anything from reviewijg this place. Just being honest.Look at other reviews. They say the same.

Came here around 2 weeks ago and we had such a great time. It was open late and we really enjoyed the food but the best thing was def the manager. He was so sweet and helpful.

The food is good, but the fact that they are open until 3am on weekends is great! Friendly service.

Had falafel wrap and chicken shawarma plate and the taste is amazing. On Friday it’s 2 falafel wraps for $6.99 which is the best deal if you are a fan of falafel. The flavours are so good and chicken was very tender and cooked to perfection. I can't wait to come back for more of their delicious shawarma. Five stars all the way!

Great flavour - insane price for the smallest "large wrap" I've ever seen. The flavour of the wrap was incredible, and the ingredients were fresh. When ordering a large wrap - you sort of expect to get something bigger than a snack wrap. It wasn't much bigger than a taquita from 711 - I can't imagine what a small would have looked like. I can't imagine how the wrap could have been any smaller without just being empty. We ordered 2 large chicken shawarma wraps, and 2 drinks - it was over $30!We joked the entire way home about how small it was, and made dinner when we got home, because a $30 meal that leaves you hungry isn't worth returning every again.

Always hits the spot with the chicken shawarma plates and a smile. Best garlic sauce in town.

Every time I come in here, me and my friends are extremely well taken care of and appreciated by the owner. He always goes above and beyond, providing delicious food for an affordable price and such kindness. We love to make a weekly visit, I always get the chicken shawarma wrap!

Ordered delivery and was floored at how small the portions were relative to the price - then tasted the food and couldn’t believe how the ratings were so high. No flavour, falafel looked microwaved, and the hummus was inedible ($8 of tasteless goo covered in olive oil with 4 tiny pita wedges). For your money, there are so many better places in STC - avoid this one.
