Friendly staff. Fast with your order. Many pastries are ready for order. Free WiFi. Patio available. Starbucks merchandise available for purchase here. Decent amount of seating. Clean facility. Line up areas can get busy. Everything on the menu is so expensive. Like to see a hand wash station.

I was there around 5pm on Dec 21,2024. The woman serving was very miserable. I asked a question about the contents of one of the coffees and she seemed like I ruined her day for asking. Won't be back!

I ordered a drink that came looking like straight milk. When I went up to complain the barista was extremely rude and told me that they make them the same at all Starbucks. I get this drink all the time at the location on Lake Street and it has never been that milky. After rudely saying, "what is it?" She said "put it down so I can read it." Then she peeled the lid off right there with her long nails (also gross), dumped an extra shot of espresso in and scolded me again before walking away.

I don’t know how to say this, but the cashier didn’t know about the Java Chip. I had to search on google about it myself to show her what is it. What do you think about the service??? Why doesn’t the staff know their products????? I repeated my order three times, showed a picture, and ordered a matcha latte with a Java Chip Frappuccino, but it still wasn’t right. She asked me, 'Sorry, what is it?' Please reconsider your service. PLEASE.
Large space, divided from Chapters so they can keep separate hours. Friendly and quick. It never seems to get too busy at the counter but there are lots of internet addicts sitting around - although I have always been able to find a seat. The large space can feel institutional at times - I prefer more intimate surroundings but they seem to be doing the best they can with the space they've been given.Photo is of dusty surface in the seating area - disappointing - perhaps they need to have more staff for general cleaning.Too bad there isn't more community building going on here - not even sure if there is a bulletin board for community messages. With such a large space they could have artists/musicians in and it would only add to the appeal. Sadly, they don't seem too interested.
