There is a standard of service I expect with Starbucks and today I was let down. The person taking my order was less than professional or helpful. They lacked knowledge and a willingness to accommodate. When I asked a Starbucks related question, the response was “I have no clue”. Needless to say I spoke with the supervisor, who reiterated the excuse of not being trained on the mobile app. She waived my breakfast item for the experience which I didn’t ask for. It was appreciated, but lately I’m finding that Tim Hortons has elevated their customer service while Starbucks is losing it. Regardless of the excuse, I’m not sure I’ll come back to this location. Inconsistent service experience isn’t what I expect of Starbucks. On a side note, they got my drink wrong, I asked for a white chocolate peppermint mocha with 2 pumps of peppermint. They made me a standard peppermint mocha half sweet, instead of a white chocolate.

I've been visiting this location for a few years, but my visits have become less frequent recently due to several issues. Firstly, the toilets are constantly filthy, which is very off-putting. Additionally, some of the evening staff are quite miserable, borderline rude, and arrogant.

The chairs are uncomfortable, and the location is very noisy, making it difficult to relax. The lighting is too bright and not at all conducive to a relaxing atmosphere.

My biggest complaint, however, is the air conditioning. Despite repeatedly asking for it to be turned down, the staff always claim that it is set by head office and that they can't do anything about it. As a result, it's always freezing inside, and I can hardly bear more than ten minutes there.

Overall, these issues have significantly diminished my enjoyment of this place.

Its my first time back at starbucks after a year. I wanted a nestalgic coffee... They didn't give me a sleeve for my 8$ capaccino... probably because I clicked no on tip, this was drive thru, so there was no way for me to get a sleeve.... and I didn't hold on to the coffee cup because it was too hot so it spilled. My 8$ coffee was on the ground because I didn't leave a tip so they didn't give me a sleeve. Hey starbucks, pay your employees fare wage, why is my 8$ capaccino supposed to turn to 10$ because you don't tip? Holding sleeves hostage like another vendor working for starbucks. Hey starbucks, get a contractor to be your batista, seems you need to go the amazon route if you don't pay your employees fairly that they get up everymorning to go to work and beg on their knees for tips. Waste of my day.

Upon entering the store, no greeting, a discomforting countenance was given by most of the staff members particularly this barista, Lawrence.

When I attempted to place my order, he was curt and dismissive. He also threw the scanner in front of us. The situation escalated when I had difficulty with my payment card. Instead of offering assistance, Lawrence rudely remarked, "Have you never used a card before?" in a condescending tone. This behavior is entirely inconsistent with Starbucks' reputation for excellent customer service. I felt disrespected and unwelcome in your establishment. Such treatment is unacceptable from any employee, especially one in a customer-facing role. I request that you address this issue with Lawrence and provide additional training on proper customer interaction. I would appreciate a response detailing how you plan to prevent similar incidents in the future.

Management refused to give my husband his free Birthday drink.We order, he pulls up to the windows and shows them his app. The staff ask him “when was the last time he was at Starbucks…” he’s here all the time. He never pays with the app so although they told us they can see his been a member since 2018 and that they can see his bday is today in the app because he hasn’t used the app in the last year they can’t give him his birthday drink.We offered to show the manager his id to prove it was his bday she didn’t want to see it but still refused to honour the free bday drink. Instead we listened to an explanation about how people lie and make accounts just to get free drinks.My poor husband was so sad we drove out of our way just to get him his birthday drink instead we were met with “when was the last time you were here?” And “people lie and make up accounts”

I love Starbucks don't get me wrong however when the employee can't do the job they were asked to do it can become a problem for the customers.I ordered a grande Iced caramel macchiato shaken with light ice and Jen said we can't do that after a very nice lady said that they could and Jen was extremely rude to the other staff (yelling at them and acting as she knew best when they were trying to help the other costumers and do what the customers asked for). Jen said we can make it upside-down instead which IS NOT THE SAME and she didnt put light ice either.Might I point out I order this drink often and there has never been a problem with it being shaken.This was at forth avenue in st.Catherines Ontario

I went first thing in the morning after being in the emergency department at the hospital across the street. The staff were super friendly . I will definitely go back to this location when I am in the area.
