Trying to surprise my family with a nice Valentine’s Day dinner, ordered this morning for delivery for 4pm and I’m still waiting I called the store and she said any minute now it’ll be here but tracking shows it still hasn’t left the store and it’s 4:20pm already.. unacceptable when I have kids waiting to eat and I have all these fees I paid to order online. It’ll be the last time I order from this location.

We waited an hour and a half for our meal. The only reason they acknowledged the wait was because I went walking around the restaurant looking for the manager.They tried to make up for it at the end but it was too little too late.This is the second time we come here and both times the service was subpar and slow.

Very poor customer service. Went for dinner there were 2 people ahead of us waiting to be served. They said they had been there a goo 15 min. Not 1 person acknowledged them. We waited another 20 min as 3 more groups of people came in and workers kept walking past us. Not once were we acknowledged to even say they were busy they'd be with us shortly. The first group of people left along with us. And others were discussing leaving also. Lost our business from now on.

I absolutely love this place. I don’t know how they do it but the chicken just tastes better on Vansickle! Tasty food, friendly service and a great family atmosphere. Best Swiss Chalet in St. Catharines by far!!

The wait staff that were there did amazing. Overworked in my opinion. Food was quick and delicious. Just the longest wait…20 minutes…before acknowledgment. Another long wait for bill. BUT…food did not take long to come out. The food was hot and well portioned. Would give 5 stars…but 1 waitress and 1 manager doing drive thru and helping the waitress made for long wait at times. Dirty tables everywhere…nobody to clean them. Tuesday Dec 27th at 1pm.

You can always count on a great portion and a delicious meal at this location. No matter how busy they are, they always deliver incredible service.

Over the past year, I've frequented this location at different times. Regardless of weather I've dined in or gone through the drive thru, I've always had a very good experience. The food is always fresh, but what really stands out every single time is the exceptional service. The staff are always so pleasant and professional - even when they are at their busiest. Second poor experience with Swiss Chalet. Their standards are slipping. Purchased a soup for take out. It was watery, have been buying this soup for years. The bowls keep shrinking and the prices are so inflated. Now it's watered down as well.The owner's response is to encourage me to complete a generic restaurant survey. There is no resolution to the initial problem.

We recently enjoyed every aspect of our dining experience at Swiss Chalet on Vansickle St. Catherine’s. The greeters, manager and server were lovely and accommodating. The server met every need efficiently and pleasantly. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was warm and festively decorated for the fall Season. We will be regulars as the entire experience was enjoyable!

My husband and I each got the two quarter leg dinner. The food was great, we were surprised at the amount of food, a good portion. I could only finish one piece of chicken and half the fries. Gave the rest to my husband, he now has his lunch fir tomorrow, he couldn't finish his either. Good food, good value, we will be going back. With us on pensions, one meal would of been enough! The staff was very friendly.Parking: Good parking space.
