Had dinner with our friends on a weekday night including drinks, appetizers, entrees & dessert. Overall good experience - fish pakoras, saag chicken & home made kulfi were all excellent. Service was reasonably quick except for a slowdown in getting my wife's drink. Reasonable atmosphere but they could upgrade some of the furnishings & art work as it feels midway between a typical Indian take-out joint and a higher end fine dining place.
We had dinner at TAASH. Food was really good, especially the lamb Vindaloo, butter chicken and tandoori roti. Shivang was so nice he offered birthday cake and didn’t added to cheque too..
I ordered take out tonight. I've been craving some good Indian food and hadn't tried this restaurant yet. I ordered the Chicken Biryani. It was the perfect amount of spice. I paired it with a riesling I had open in the fridge. It was delicious. Always grateful when someone else cooks for me. :) Happy Diwali!
