Visited on Valentine's Day for the prix fixe menu and left disappointed. The beet salad was overwhelmed by a heavy bed of goat cheese, and the four-cheese gnocchi tasted like Gorgonzola soup. Dessert (affogato) had icy gelato. Attentive service, but far too expensive for the quality we received overall.
Overall really good experience at teatro, my friends and I had the charcuterie board to start, I wouldn't say that the board is worth the price at all but it wasn't bad- would have appreciate more cheese as there was only 4 small pieces of one cheese. 3 of us had different pastas and they were all incredible, 1 of the girls had pizza and it was amazing. The service was fantastic. The tiramisu was the star of the show, probably the best I've ever had!
Good meal but expensive. The ambience is ok but a little cavernous. Noise level was high. Service was very good.
A fabulous dining experience. Best Caesar salad and pizza was like none other in the city.
The place was ok but nothing special. No need for me to go back. The ambience is not to my liking. A previous warehouse with an attempt to look fancy. I appreciate the hard work and sweat equity that goes into beginning a business and the food tasted good. My fish was raw in the centre. I wish them the best.
Such a beautiful experience. Food was amazing, service was great. Will definitely recommend to my friends and family. Looking forward to trying the lunch menu!
Dinner was nice, but the overall presentation/entree unfortunatelu, fell below expectations.
The food was good, but not for what they charge. Our apps were cold. There was some sort of mix up with the table behind us so the waitress tried to take plates away from 2 of us(after it was already put down and stirred around), to give to the other table(which was weird and awkward). Drinks were good but very expensive. Meals were good... but for the portions and price, not worth it, in my opinion. It was still very good, just not worth the hype we were hearing about.
Delicious food. The Arctic char was delicious. The homemade house bread was fantastic. Friendly service , every staff member was personable and efficient.
Our first visit to this newer establishment....we celebrated my wife's birthday with 5 adults in total. It was a Tyesday evening....only 2 other tables in restaurant at 6:30pm. The restaurant is well decorated overall. Unfortunately the pricing and food portions MUST BE REVISITED!!! Way too expensive for the very small portions. Nicely presented but little food for the pricing. I wish them luck but being in the business for many years, it's going to be challenging to continue with their high pricing and little food to fill your tummy with.

Everything was delightful from the moment we walked in. They pleasantly greeted us at the door, the ambiance was perfect, and the wait staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Three of us ordered different entry's and all of them were delicious. The only negative thing we all agreed with was the portions were small. We all devoured our meals and still had plenty of room for more. I would say the price would be accurate/appropriate if the portions were just a slight bigger :) But if you are looking for a nice, quiet place for delicious food and a fine dining experience, that is it.
It was absolutely fantastic Mutch the bartender created a Guinness sour for my friends birthday and she was so impressed Allan our server made a great experience and Arik the GM went through the menu with us so the 3 of us decided on the pre-fix menu so we could share. We did the 10 oz steak, short rib risotto and the Artic Chare. And bruchetta and pan seared scallops for our app. Then had their house made Cherry Limencello with homemade tiramsu and to die for espresso martinis. Thank you for another great night!
Excellent Dinner! Both plates that my wife and I ordered were outstanding. Both had flavors and pairings we haven't had before. Good atmosphere and well mixed cocktails. My wife saved a little from her plate to take home for the kids to taste. I didn't have the discipline. lol We'll be back to try more from the menu!
Very expensive and the food quality and service do not reflect this. One of the people at our table of four ordered the scallop appetizer and told the server that would be her meal. It was brought out but the rest of the dinners did not come out for another half hour. We kept asking when we would get ours and at first we were told they would be out shortly, but they did not. We asked again and were told they were being plated, but another 15 minutes went by before we finally had them. Our reservation was for 6:30 and we finally got our food at 7:40. My risotto was undercooked and hard and I could not eat it. The other two people said their meals were not that great tasting. I did tell the server about the risotto and the took half of the price of it off my bill - it should have been the whole amount. They also offered coffee or dessert to the other people. Don't be fooled - this is NOT a fine dinning restaurant but the prices are.
Good food - delicious authentic Italian flavors. Attentive service - very friendly server Mitch. We particularly loved the scallops appetizer, the arrabbiata pasta with lobster tail, and the vegetarian bucatini.
