Really impressed with this place! The staff were super friendly, service was quick, and the food came out hot and delicious. I ordered the medium Pad Thai chicken and it had plenty of sauce with just the right amount of heat. I’ll definitely be returning.

Ordered chicken pad Thai and the noodles were underdone, and the dish was overly saucier than usual… like REALLY saucy. And so many bean sprouts and little chicken. I fed some to my 1 year old but since it was underdone, she couldn’t even chew on it, I pulled out a long very underdone noodle from her mouth. My husband asked for it to be remade, and they seemed annoyed and frustrated about that. They barely fixed my issues the second time around, the noodles were cooked, but it was still saucy & the bean sprouts were underdone!! Also, barely and chicken the first and second time!!!!! This places used to be good. What happened???

Showed up at 8:45pm tonight and the place was primarily shut down-the screens were off and most of the back was already cleaned up. Hours posted are until 9pm but they had clearly started shutting down by at least 8:30. Had to drive 20 minutes to get here only for the employees to decide to close early.

Ridiculous, came here after work to grab dinner in the food court at 845 and the staff was already shutting the place down. Adjust your hours if you aren't open till 9.

I have been calling the store for weeks to report an order everytime I call the manager is never available and the workers can’t help me. I would never order food or buy from Thai express any location ever. Their customer is an email and they don’t even respond to you after the first initial email sent.

We love ordering from Thai Express generally whenever we crave for a quick Thai food fix. They usually have plenty of serving, box-filled and really packed. However, our experience from this branch is different. We ordered a Pad Thai, and we got a 3/4 full box , less noodles, more sauce, more bean sprouts.. and more sauce. We would usually not finish an order because of how plenty it is for 2 people, but this serving was short and not even fulling. Won’t be buying from this store again. Not worth our 20$.

I was at the mall with a friend for lunch. It was just before noon. We lined up in front of the store to order and literally just got ignored buy the people working. Maybe they weren’t open yet, I’m not sure, but if so just say so. We finally gave up and went to another restaurant

I'm hooked on Thai Express in St. Catharines, The flavours are so authentic, and the service is unbelievably fast. Every dish I've tried has been consistently delicious, making it a perfect experience for me!

Terrible! This place stunk and I mean STUNK. And wouldn’t know how the food was because they didn’t out the lid on my soup and when I went to bring it out of my car the entire bottom in the bag ripped and my food went all over the floor. This place was filthy so I guess it was a blessing in disguise.

One of the workers, Loki, went above and beyond to help me and my child who has allergies eat at this location. Will Definitely be back just based on this one experience. Thanks Loki!

I just ordered the soup from this location. It was the spicy soup but I knew it wasn’t going to be actually spicy. I asked the staff if it was “actually hot” and they gave me a cup of this green and red chili pepper mixture…..finally a proper spicy soup from a food court! We were all laughing and I really appreciated the extra customer service. Now I know a hack when ordering :)

And to the staff working - I used the whole cup 😉

I ordered the general thai mango. It was alright. However, they had no paper plates. Not acceptable for a food court.

Ordered the General Thai Pineapple on rice and it’s pretty good, pretty much the same as the other locations. Only issue is they should change the box or plating for the steamed rice dishes, which is what the other locations are doing. They put mine on those little green box they use and I can barely see my rice. You have to dig in at the very bottom using a plastic fork that is very fragile. You’re kinda forced to eat the protein on top first before you get to eat the rice 😭

RUDE STAFF. I work at the pen centre I used to buy from this place quite often. I don’t know what happened but one day all of a sudden they started to be rude. The first time they gave me bad looks and talk to me on a bad way I didn’t make it as a big deal since I understand people can have bad days but the second time I went there the same big asian guy was rude because I asked for my employee discount, took my card from me and told me that I wasn’t gonna be able to use my card for next time because I broke the rule (I just had asked for the discount) I spoke up and got my card back, then he went hide in the back (he knew that what he was doing was wrong) anyways there’s no sense in being rude to the costumers when you’re literally working on a costumer service job. (They have also messed up my orders in the past). Never had issues before until I started buying when the big guy was there and I know I’m not the only one with complains about him. I hope they address the issue.
