On our drive to Toronto we found this place based on reviews. It did not disappoint. Very unassuming on the outside but quaint and charming on the inside. Everything was delicious! Food was amazing. We had crustless quiche, beet omelet, bbq hot mess, bacon cheeseburger, and special pancakes. Must try.

We absolutely LOVED our first visit to Diner House 29 and the only reason I am not giving it a full on five ⭐️s is because honestly it was really expensive for breakfast— even if you are thinking of it as brunch—That said, the Chorizo and baked beans was yummy, our waitress was really friendly, and the atmosphere is vintage without being corny about it—And who doesn’t love a place that’s passionate about Pyrex?

Finally tried 2 weeks ago and been back twice!I have to say first time going it was packed and there was a wait so we chose to be impatient and walk out however there was one of the girls chasing us down asking our name —man I am so glad we waited bc we have lived here 10+yrs and been looking for the best ma and pa operation and this is it!So many options even for the pickiest! I don’t like pancakes normally and I don’t pick off peoples plates but I was mowing down on my sons pancake!Went back in today and owner super nice lady, Anne—remembers us-Unreal!! Now I can see why this so busy!Best personal experience, best breakfast/lunch, Best Everything! I love this place and highly recommend !!!

We were around looking for a breakfast place and found this one. The most interesting and delicious experience. It’s a small dinner but has a very talented cook who creates new yummy dishes. Even the traditional ones, like the BLT sandwich which i tried was exceptional. The staff are very cheerful and welcoming. Overall, a delightful experience & I certainly recommend this place
