TING Lao & Thai take out

Just checked the Ontario health inspection site and although this restaurant seems to get great ratings for food, it's cleanliness etc is not great. Until they start scoring highly consistently, I will not eat here as I do not want to take the chance on getting stomach issues.

my bf and i got the chicken fried rice, wings, and chicken pad thai and we were not disappointed! my pad thai was very saucy, flavourful and had spice as i requested. the rice had big pieces of chicken and was flavourful as well. both portions were very generous and can be eaten in more than one sitting. the chicken wings had a nice seasoning and came with sautéed peppers which tied it all together. everything was $35 only!

A hidden gem with great food. The price to portion size is superb, I don't think anywhere else would give you the same amount of Pad Thai for the price.

Pad Thai is honestly the best around. And the beef jerky is really good.

Parking: Located in a strip mall, lots of parking.

Best Chicken Pad Thai at a very reasonable price. Spring rolls are great.

I live only a short distance from this amazing Thai takeout restaurant.
The price is great.
The Chicken Pad Thai that I ordered was excellent. One order would have been enough for two people.
The spring rolls are the best I have had from any restaurant in years, lots of filling and very tasty.
I placed my order and it was ready in 20 minutes.
Highly recommend Ting Lao & Thai takeout.

Just discovered this hidden gem. It’s really just a kitchen in the back of the First Choice Asian market, but the food is tremendous.We’ve had the pad Thai, red curry, and the spring rolls, each fresh and flavourful. The noodles and the curry blend the sweet, spicy, and tangy perfectly. The prices are so inexpensive this has to be one of the best bargains in St Catharines.This spot is now our go-to for Thai.

Pad Thai and spring rolls (both fresh and deep fried) were great! Was not a fan of the papaya salad, tasted bland yet still edible. Friendly and fast service. Location is a hidden gem for sure being in the back of the grocery store. Spice level was perfect (a tad on the spicier side), say a medium or a bit less compared to an Indian cuisine. Not much chicken in the Pad Thai and pork and hoisin sauce seemed limited as well in the rolls. For the price it’s worth checking out and seeing if it’s right for you. Was filling for dinner and didn’t crave any more food.

Great price and great takeout food!It’s a small takeout counter at the back of the store—ring the bell for service. Order takes about 15 min to prepare. Have been here many times and will eat from here again.

Literally the best pork spring roles I have ever had! Friendly staff also

Everything was tasty and great portion size! The noodle soup is really worthwhile and very flavourful. We ordered the papaya salad however and even when we ordered it to be “a little spicy”- it was like 9/10 spice level and we couldn’t eat any of it. Would come back but the was sad we couldn’t finish the salad.
