I had lunch here Tuesday. There wasn’t anybody in there but me so my food was made in a good time I enjoyed my meal I liked the French fries. Friendly staff.

NOT SAFE FOR CELIACS. Just had a terrible reaction from the “gluten friendly” fish and chips and/or the sweet potato fried thing. Thanks for triggering all kinds of awful symptoms and making me vomit. You just ruined my week, it’s going to take days to recover from this. So irresponsible!!!!

We went to Union Jack's last Saturday for a treat as we like to visit once in awhile. They have delicious fish and chips always fresh and tasty. The Cole slaw that comes with order is so delicious also. We recently met the owners and they as well as all the staff are always so nice and friendly. We like it as our go to place because is always consistently fresh, hot and tasty! Also they have a great gluten free menu! :)

Quiet clean the meal itself was not up to par the fries were uck raw just barely cooked and the fish wasn't from it you g man served us he was good but the cook yelled and raised his hands up on the air no refund no fries

I purchased halibut fish and chips to go once I got home the fish was way overcooked or reheated it was very chewy and very dry , sitting heavy in stomach sort not pleased at all

Food was good but I forgot to ask about the oil they use. I had an allergic reaction

Delicious food served with a smile. Caring staff made sure our meal was delicious, we got haddock and halibut fish and chips and were beyond pleased with our purchase.

Not sure why people are giving this place so many bad reviews, maybe close to the hospital has caused some people to lash out during potentially stressful medical situations. I found it delicious and will be returning to frequent this location, I hope others give it a try too.

We arrived on a Friday night for dinner and ordered a 6 piece fish & chips. The man behind the counter was worried as we wanted to done in and they were closing in 30 mins at 7:30. Service was kurt and it was difficult to know what drinks are available as the fridge is not facing the customers.

Food came out quickly, tasted good, and was a good portion.

They are quite busy at that time of night, maybe especially on Friday's, might be good to stay open until 8pm?

If you don't care about the level of friendliness of service, then I recommend, but go early lol

Food quality is terrible. Since Covid it is awful. The oil they use is old whenever we have gone. The batter is now thick and soggy and there is very little fish. This is unacceptable, especially considering the prices! They don’t have mushy pease anymore which was a favourite.The staff was rude and acted bored and had no idea what they were doing.We won’t be back!

Ordered Fish and chips for Good Friday, 2 pieces of Haddock and Fries.Asked for the fish and Fries to be done well and asked for a side of gravy.Was told No gravy was being made today!ok it’s Good Friday it’s busy I understand!BUT when we picked up our food at 4pm like they told us it would be ready and brought it home…. It was stone cold, hard and the fries were white like they barely gave them a chance to cook.. I’m sure this was all cooked at noon by how I’ve received it.Totally disappointed.. I understand it’s one, if not the busiest time of year from them but we paid $23 for that meal, I think we deserve a hot, fresh cooked meal.

As always Union Jack has great seafood. I wasn't a big fan of the scallops, small but they tasted ok and well cooked. The interior isn't good for a sit-down dinner, but excellent for take out.

Parking: With so many restaurants together parking can be a bit tight.

Wheelchair accessibility: While it is accessible, the accessible parking isn't very close. There are weird ridges on the sidewalk that are difficult to get over. And the interior doesn't have a lot of space to move.
