Ordered Fish and chips for Good Friday, 2 pieces of Haddock and Fries.Asked for the fish and Fries to be done well and asked for a side of gravy.Was told No gravy was being made today!ok it’s Good Friday it’s busy I understand!BUT when we picked up our food at 4pm like they told us it would be ready and brought it home…. It was stone cold, hard and the fries were white like they barely gave them a chance to cook.. I’m sure this was all cooked at noon by how I’ve received it.Totally disappointed.. I understand it’s one, if not the busiest time of year from them but we paid $23 for that meal, I think we deserve a hot, fresh cooked meal.

As always Union Jack has great seafood. I wasn't a big fan of the scallops, small but they tasted ok and well cooked. The interior isn't good for a sit-down dinner, but excellent for take out.Parking: With so many restaurants together parking can be a bit tight.Wheelchair accessibility: While it is accessible, the accessible parking isn't very close. There are weird ridges on the sidewalk that are difficult to get over. And the interior doesn't have a lot of space to move.
I am gluten sensitive so Union Jack is a God sent.

stay away - i should have known by the half eaten dinners on the table - everything was so greasy and disgusting - what happened to this place - the one on vine was no hutch's but was ok but this one took grease trap to a whole new level - i felt ill after - first and last time going here - groty!!
This is a proper chippy !I wish I took a photo the halibut 2 pc was perfect! The batter the fish the chips! So goodLovely staff! Incredible service anticipated all our needs I wanted for nothingBeautiful food ! I ate in today and was so happy with the food fresh and deliciousService was great, efficient and friendly !

I don’t know what you people are all speaking about, great food, fries were great, served with a smile, didn’t have to ask for anything, everything was brought to my table,First time here & wont be my last! & for people who have celiac disease should know better that there is cross contamination, unless your making it seem worse by saying that you have that disease for you to throw it on a business for pity or your own gain!Eat at home
