Union Jack Fish & Chips LTD Carlton Street

We went in for haddock fish and ordered a side of mashed potatoes. The fish was great. Consistent quality but the mashed potatoes was a disappointment. It was very dry and non creamy. The mashed potatoes were not seasoned well. Please improve the quality of the sides.

We went to Union Jack Fish and chips for the Gluten-free options and we were not disappointed. The fish and batter were so flaky and delicious! Fries were just okay IMHO but the fish absolutely worth it. The atmosphere especially in the one location is really not very customer friendly, more geared to pick up but we were from out of town so didn't have much choice.

I ordered a halibut platter that comes with shrimp and scallops and you can change the order to get poutine sweet potato fries and I decided to get a poutine and this is what I get and my other two items that was supposed come with the platter did not arrive! What a rip off

Designated fryer for gluten free. Good chips. Great batter for the gluten free fish. Crispy batter, moist flakey fish inside. Clean restaurant.

Great food! Well worth the money.

We went back again and ordered the 2 two piece frozen fish and chips. Instructions were easy and they turned out really good. We ordered online and they had some really good BOGO specials when you order online. We had the 2 for 1 Haddock burger and 2 for 1 Mac and Cheese bites. The Haddock burgers were fresh and tasted good and the mac and Cheese bites were not too bad. For what we paid, we were happy with our order.

I ordered a 2-piece fish and chips. The fish was good but I got maybe 20 undercooked fries in the whole box. For $30+tax this is completely unacceptable. Save your money and don’t go to this location. There is a better one on fourth ave. where they will give you what you pay for. This is so disappointing.

Not much of a lobby but great food and service

Ordered for Good Friday, picked it up, waited 10 mins for it, no big deal. Git home 5 mins later, fries cold and hard, fish was also barely warm, not impressed at all

First time getting fish and chips there. DID NOT go on Good Friday because we knew it'd be hectic. The fish was tough, the fries were almost inedible and the coleslaw tasted like fish. I was so excited to go but will definitely not be back. $55 later and the food was subpar.

Ordered two haddock burgers, the piece of haddock is half the size of the burger, what a rip off.

Ordered take out and when i come to pick it up, they forgot to make it and "it got lost with the other orders". Had to wait double the time for greasy overcooked soggy fish and chips. So not worth the time and money. Never coming back. Thanks for nothing
