Everything is home made including the pasta. Many dishes are heavy ceam and cheese based. Tried the boar ragu but it had cloves and a hot spice that was not to my liking. The waitress as kind and returned the dish. I then tried the pasta stuff mushroom in cheese cream sauce. This was rich and too salty. The pasta melted in your mouth. We eat at the Valley regularly, this time to celebrate a birthday. Some times we choose off the menu sometimes the specials. The specials last night were over the top... 2 in our group had the Veal steak with pasta and beef cheeks with Polenta. Never disappoints. Delicious food. Book ahead because they are always busy. Authentic Italian cuisine in a residential neighborhood. Lovely complimentary fociacia at the start of the meal and complimentary limoncello at the end of the meal. Restaurant is cozy and tables are close together. Hand towels in the washrooms are cotton washcloths; environmentally friendly.
