Unfortunately, I live near this location and I’m forced to endure the changes that are convenient for the location. For at least 4 years lunch started at 10:30 now it’s 11. I am currently at this location waiting for lunch and can pay to have it delivered from any other Wendy’s at this time to this location. However, I cannot order lunch from this location at this time currently 10:53. In addition to that, there’s only one new staff ( they have to continue to rehire) who does all the cleaning of the washrooms, the lobby, takes the order and the cooking in the morning. The three other staff working or two as they are contained in a room hiding and gossiping. If you really want Wendy’s, please drive to Welland Ave or to the next closest one. I am sure you will regret it if you go to “The Very Dirty Hartzel Rd location”!

I came yesterday around 10pm decided to go through the drive-through I was really busy but the girl on drive-through which I think her name was Hailey was so polite and said sorry about the wait only waiting 2 minutes at most but it was so nice her to say sorry about the wait. the food was great and I will be coming back.

Under Pressure

The drive - thru lady (short, large build, white, blonde wears glasses) has a horrible attitude towards uber eats delivery drivers just mean and gave attitude for no reason. I went up to the window to politely tell her to be more nice to people and the way she spoke was unacceptable in a customer service role. She didnt open the window dismissed me trying to make me come inside instead of just talking to me there just being difficult untill her other employee came over to talk to me and she also instantly gave attitude and tried to dismiss me aswell. If im telling you your drive - thru employee is being rude to me then take the criticism and correct it.

Went in for takeout, bought a Dave’s single combo with no bun. Food was delicious and fresh. The service was fast and friendly! Breakfast, lunch or dinner Hartzel Road Wendy’s is my favourite location to go!

I have had the same lady the last 3 times I've gone through Drive thru.... and she basically throws my order in my hands! She has bad customer service! Everyone else there is great!

On January 30, 2025 I went through the drive through at the Hartzel Rd. Wendy's at around 5:25 to 5:30. I ordered two JBC's and a medium fry. Total coming to $9.37. The individual ringing through my order passed the machine through the window and I tapped my card. She said it didn't go through and and acted strange about it and asked another employee, she came back and told me it did not go through. So I believed her and did it again. I wasn't sure about the whole thing. So when I got home much later that night I checked my card online and it showed that I had been charged $9.37 twice.
I called back to the store just before 10:30 that night and asked to speak to a manager. The lady that answered the phone stated she was a manager, named Danielle. I told her what had happened she took my name, phone number and email and told me that her manager would contacted me in a few days to resolve the double charge. TODAY is February 10th 2025. Never had a phone call or email. No messages left. So I guess they feel that over charging customers is fine. When they reach out to complain that they have been overcharged, they will tell you they will reach out but apparently with no intention to do so at all. After all they got their money out of it twice.
Thankfully I went through my card company and they recognized the double charge and reversed it. There is still some good customer service. Which I was thankful for.
My suggestion would to be very careful if your going through the drive through at that Wendy's, they don't seem to want to respond to customer issues and problems. But none of the 3 Wendy's in the city ever give you a receipt. So ask for one, so you have it in case they double dip you. Or pay in cash and that would unfortunately slow the line down. But as long as you get back the proper change, at least your not getting hosed.
Go to a different fast food joint over this one...
