On January 30, 2025 I went through the drive through at the Hartzel Rd. Wendy's at around 5:25 to 5:30. I ordered two JBC's and a medium fry. Total coming to $9.37. The individual ringing through my order passed the machine through the window and I tapped my card. She said it didn't go through and and acted strange about it and asked another employee, she came back and told me it did not go through. So I believed her and did it again. I wasn't sure about the whole thing. So when I got home much later that night I checked my card online and it showed that I had been charged $9.37 twice.
I called back to the store just before 10:30 that night and asked to speak to a manager. The lady that answered the phone stated she was a manager, named Danielle. I told her what had happened she took my name, phone number and email and told me that her manager would contacted me in a few days to resolve the double charge. TODAY is February 10th 2025. Never had a phone call or email. No messages left. So I guess they feel that over charging customers is fine. When they reach out to complain that they have been overcharged, they will tell you they will reach out but apparently with no intention to do so at all. After all they got their money out of it twice.
Thankfully I went through my card company and they recognized the double charge and reversed it. There is still some good customer service. Which I was thankful for.
My suggestion would to be very careful if your going through the drive through at that Wendy's, they don't seem to want to respond to customer issues and problems. But none of the 3 Wendy's in the city ever give you a receipt. So ask for one, so you have it in case they double dip you. Or pay in cash and that would unfortunately slow the line down. But as long as you get back the proper change, at least your not getting hosed.
Go to a different fast food joint over this one...

The young lady at the window was awful at her job. I just drive and I asked for ketchup she closed the window my drink has no straw or no napkins. She should not be in customer service!

Called to let the manger know about a quality issue with my order. She seemed disinterested in the complaint. I didn’t want my order replaced as we just removed the offending ingredient but she offered no assurance that the problem would be looked in to. All of the lettuce on our order looked like this and was slimy, as a former employee of Wendy’s i understand that lettuce is one of the worst prep jobs to do but this is unacceptable. I would have rather been told that the store was out of lettuce then have this put on my food.

I would. We originally asked for 3 medium combos and one with no lettuce and no tomatoes. After we got our food we noticed that all the combos are small combos not mediums like we originally ordered. We went inside to ask about the medium combos and they said they accidentally gave us small ones but didn’t change anything. Then we noticed that all of the burgers had lettuce and tomatoes, we then proceeded to go through the drive through where we asked to see the receipt. The lady slammed the sliding window in our faces and aggressively handed us our receipt, which specifically said one of the burgers should have no lettuce and no tomatoes. She then “fixed” it and gave us the exact same burger with lettuce and tomatoes. We then went back inside and showed that there still was lettuce and tomoato on the burger, followed by the receipt for the second time. She then was rude to us and yelled at as she finally gave us the correct burger with no lettuce and tomatoes. She yelled “NO LETTUCE NO TOMATO” aggressively as she handed us the burger.

When you order the bacon portobello mushroom sandwich an it looks nothing like the picture...smh do better!! I got a little bit of bacon an 2 small pieces of mushrooms.

Food was great but not as hot as it should have been due to the delay in consuming it.
No greeting at the window, no receipt, no napkins. I was given the wrong change so I had to return which explains why my food was no longer hot.

We frequently order from this Wendy's and normally I let the missteps slide ( forgot an order of fries, no cheese on my burger etc) but today was my final straw. Sent my husband out for 2 Cobb salads and told him to make sure they put in the little bags of fried onions. He went thru the drive thru and specifically asked for them and was assured that they were in the bag. He gets home and yes you guessed it! They are NOT in the bag but the real kicker is neither are the packets of ranch dressing. Cmon guys this isn't rocket science. Do better!

I've been to this location twice in the past month and I was very disappointed both times. The premises are disgustingly dirty. The dirt is caked around bottom of the walls and counters and in the corners. Both the women and the men's washrooms are filthy. The tables are not cleaned. The staff was not friendly. They don't look very happy and it's no wonder.
I've been a fan of Wendy's for many years and last month was my first time going into the Hartzel location. I won't be back.

orderered a hamburger with cheese. got home to find a spicy chicken in the bag. told ice machine broken when asked about ice after being handed luke warm pops. will not spend money here again
