Galina was our guide on this quiet Tuesday evening, and she was absolutely incredible. We were the only ones at the winery, but she still gave us the most attentive, engaging, and personalized tour we could have imagined. Her knowledge, passion, and genuine love for what she does made the experience unforgettable.
We learned so much about the wines, the history of the winery, and the winemaking process — all delivered with her wonderful sense of humor and kindness. It felt like a private masterclass!

Lovely winery, we did the wine tastings, but didn’t eat anything here since they don’t have a safe gluten free prep space. The wines were good, the staff were great, but the ambiance is impacted by the poor acoustics of the place. All the voices travel and bounce off the walls, so it was hard to hear the sommelier speak when there were other parties talking upstairs.
Wine was great! Also, I got a $5 voucher to buy a bottle of wine!!!

Chateau Des Charmes was one of our stops included in our Winemakers selection pass we purchased. We were very impressed with how beautiful this property is. From the long driveway leading up to the Chateau, the lovely patio and grapevines in behind and the interior formal staircase leading up to the upper floor. Wow! We will return and bring friends next time to do the tour of the production facility right on site.

Our visit to Château des Charmes in Niagara on the Lake was a dream! It's the most peaceful and serene winery I've ever visited! We were lucky to be there on a gorgeous sunny day, and the backyard area was the perfect spot to unwind. Their big, comfy white leather couches made it easy to sit back with our drinks, relax, and enjoy every minute of quiet conversation surrounded by the picturesque setting.
The gentleman who greeted us was truly made for his role. He was incredibly personable and professional. He did a fantastic job explaining all of our options when we arrived and guided us effortlessly through the experience. There are plenty of choices, from tastings and individual glasses to cocktails and mocktails.
My mojito came out initially missing some mint and muddling, but they handled it beautifully. The bartender immediately made things right, remade the drink perfectly, and even comped it with a genuine smile. The kind of old school, attentive hospitality ( becoming increasingly rare these days), they absolutely excelled at it!
Overall, Château des Charmes completely exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere, the people, and the impeccable attention to guests made for a memorable and relaxing afternoon. We’ll definitely be back!
