Unfortunately, it’s been many years since we visited this wonderful quaint village with fine shops and outstanding personable service, but our return was enjoyable and worthwhile in part due to selecting Stone Crock for lunch. We sat outside under a tent with heat omitting devices to warm the cool temperatures that day. The food and drink menu, enclosed is small, but offers enough options to satisfy. We are from Alberta visiting family. Our aunt and uncle showed us around the area and we ended up at Stone Crock for lunch. The service was wonderful and the large tent worked well for all. Our server, Deb, was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We all enjoyed the food and drink. We will definitely be back at some point. Thanks so much for the great meal!
We went for lunch and ate outside under their huge tent.They had fireplace heaters. I had the crispy chicken wrap and potatoe leek soup which was delicious. My friend had taco salad which she said was spicy. Fish and chips by other friend two pieces of battered haddock and homemade french ? service was fast and efficient. Social distancing in practice. We would go again.
