Had the 12oz new york strip with veggies and garlic mashed potatoes. The veggies consisted of just overcooked carrots and undercooked orange peppers witj little flavour. The potatoes had thinly sliced garlic in it that made the garlic taste very strong. The steak was just okay. My mother also got a burger that we both thought was dry.
The waitress was very nice and personable but I'm not sure if I would choose to go here again.

My husband and I were excited to try this place but ended up being quite disappointed. When we sat down, the tables were greasy and someone else’s tobacco rolling paper was behind the drink menu. We got the blooming onion, the belfast burger, and the turkey club and spent $60. All the food was quite bland and sssuuuper super dry. The waitress checked on us once and did not offer any refills. The vibe was trying too hard to be “fancy” when it’s really just mediocre at best, even the customers didn’t know whether to dress nicely or casual. Overall, we didn’t love this and would not come back.

I just spent $40 for a drink and an order of steak "bites". Absolutely ? not acceptable. For an appetiser that is priced at $18.99 the "bites" should at least cover the plate, shouldn't they? A paltry 8-10 tiny bites and a side of dip (not even an ounce, surely) was presented to me. With the many dining options in the city, 1881 Steakhouse has fallen of my list of sure choices.
If you're looking for good value for money spent, don't choose this restaurant.

Went for lunch, I see they used to have a lunch menu which would have been nice for a few more options but still a good variety and price ranges if you want a fancy steak meal or a wrap, great deals of the week options. Food was very good, server was lovely. The patio is nice but a bit loud some greenery and plants might help! (understandable with the road). As a new business im excited to see how they continue to update the place will definitely be back

The photos pretty much say it all. Paid close to $50 for delivery for 2 items and a can of Pepsi. Was really looking forward to the steak bites but they looked very disappointing and careless. The fish was broken in half for some reason. This was a special meal for the long weekend and I feel ripped off. This was my first and last time eating from here and I do not recommend it. Hopefully someone at this place reads these reviews and makes some changes.
