Elgin’s Backyard Burgers

Do not sleep on this place. Homemade burgers are the absolute best and this place does not sell short of that! Fresh bun, tasty mushroom swiss melt literally melted in my mouth. The staff most polite, friendly people. We will be back!!!!

Not sure why the high reviews of this place? I wanted to like it, got the House burger w/cheese and bacon, fries and a side of onion rings, well the rings weren’t in the bag. The burger was ok for juiciness but lacked flavour, and the fries were blah.

It was my first time and I went for lunch.

I loved their burger topped with a smoked brisket. It was fresh, original and tasty. Fries were perfect. Definitely going back

Food and service was great. Burgers had great taste and fresh toppings. The chef(Owner) even came out and asked how our lunch was. That’s a person who takes pride in his establishment and food. If we are ever back in St.Thomas I know what’s for lunch!

Excellent beef burgers. Definitely worth the trip. Got the cheese burger & soup. Everything very hot and freshly made to order. Tastes like home made burger and soup.

I first went here close to when it first opened and it was decent. Had a burger craving and went back and now it was awesome! They have perfected a lot of things since i was there last.
They have added a lot of fresh homemade toppings to customize the burger. The patty was cooked perfectly and fit the bun well. I ordered a double patty which wasn't necessary as it was pretty thick as a single patty.
Someone asked me recently where the best burger in town is and I didn't have a good answer. Now I do!
