Ordered take out. Dinner for three. I ate the chicken fried rice two days in a row, and it gave me really bad stomach cramps, and diarrhea, which would suggest chemical components to the food that didn’t agree with my system.

I’ve preferred here before and it was cheap food and good for what it cost. But now it’s terrible the chicken balls weren’t cooked all the way through and all batter. The chicken fried rice or should I say chicken less fried rice with big chunks of raw onion absolutely terrible. The egg rolls were so greasy when I lifted the bag they were in they fell right through absolutely disgusting. The beef chow mien were not bad all the rest thrown in garbage the egg rolls were so bad I want to see if the restaurants owner will eat them. And I use the term restaurant loosely.
Very disappointing I don’t in my opinion recommend this establishment. It would be better at fast eddies than this place never returning
Staff were okay but just gave us they left overs from day we just relized as we called to talk with someone and they were closed

The food is really good, way better than anything in Ottawa. The service is also very good. Can’t comment on atmosphere because I have always had the food delivered. So glad that I found the Golden Dragon restaurant…awesome food.

Would not recommend horrible food, chicken did not look like chicken, the egg rolls were good but could clearly tell were not homemade and were mass produced elsewhere, the ribs were really fat and boney not much meat, this is my second time trying them and both times were not good

I visited Golden Dragon on Elm Street for dinner recently and found it worth five stars. It’s in a typical strip mall and the place was very clean.
The menu covers standard Chinese food options. What we ordered came out hot, with good portion sizes that left us with leftovers. The flavours were solid, and everything seemed fresh. The meal for four people cost around $60, which felt reasonable for the amount of food.
The staff was polite and kept things moving. Our order was timely, and they checked on us a couple of times. No issues with the service. They offer takeout and delivery, which seems convenient for most customers. Compared to other places in St. Thomas, this one stands out for being consistent and reliable. If you’re looking for a decent spot for Chinese food, it’s a good option to try.

The food is great, but good luck reaching them on the phone. They never pick up and their hours are inconsistent. I don’t think they want money?

Food is average. If you want great chinese food this is not the place. They are not the friendliest and are poor at answering the phone. They definitely need to step up their game!

We were so excited after tasting the food that we completely forgot to take a picture.

Based on the restaurant rating, you’d assume the food was terrible but that is not in any way the case.

It was fresh, hot, spicy and very tasty!
