Save your money folks. Ordered delivery which arrived in 20 minutes if that tells you anything. Stale egg rolls, 2 dishes had broccoli and carrots that weren't chewable, 1 dish had warm pork on outside and cold on inside and the fortune cookies were probably from when the place was called Lucky Gardens. Family Day, Feb. 16, 2025 was an expensive lesson learned. Never again.

The service was good, everyone was nice however the food was horrible and I'm not picky. The chicken tasted burnt, had no sauce and had a weird after taste. The vegetables and beef also had a weird after taste. The noodles were okay but I found myself just wanting the noodles you get from the store cuz they wouldve been better.... had higher hopes but unfortunately this place was not it at all. Only got 2 stars because of service but food is a 1 for sure.

We got take out and everything tasted off. The beef with mixed vegetables tasted sweet and the vegetables were harder then normal. The sweet and sour chicken balls actually tasted good. But the chicken fried rice had a weird flavor and it was bland and we hardly ate any of it.

Worse Asian buffet I've ever been to. Lucky I was only a guest and someone had to pay for the meal. Under cooked, raw veggies, luke warm rice(with uncooked bits). Yuck.

No idea how the food is. Went in for a buffet, at a place that has the word buffet in the name of it. And someone at the back just yelled at us, "no buffet!"
Apparently, the buffet is only on at certain times? I have no idea. I'll never find out.

I would say this restaurant was okay, not great but not terrible either. The fried food was really good and seemed fresh, however some of the other dishes tasted a little old and/or reheated. I really enjoyed the atmosphere as it was quiet but the buffet is small.

I probably won’t return but for the price, the food wasn’t bad.

So, I'm kinda new to town and when asking around, 'the best Chinese food in town'... EVERYone says it's the little place in the mall. I've had it a handful of times and, it's mediocre mall food at best. No idea what everyone is on about.
So, tonight I decided to try Lucky. I feel pretty unlucky about that decision.
At first, I was excited because the lady told me that orders over $30 you get free Lemon chicken! Awesome! I'd have food for three days! Not just leftovers tomorrow. Perfect!
Then I started eating it. Now, I'm sad that I have this to eat for three days.
I decided to try it cos they have Chicken Soo Gai on the menu. For me, the Soo Gai is what I judge a Chinese restaurant on. (some places these days just call it 'almond chicken'.) Like Thai places, you try the Pad Thai. Diners, the Club Sandwich. Indian, the butter chicken. Chinese restaurants... I try the Soo Gai.

It was... hard. Soo Gai should be a thin payer of kinda flaky breading. The breading was super thick and hard.
The chicken fried rice didn't seem 'fried' at all and was very light on flavour.
The FREE lemon chicken was... chewy. Like... jerky softened with some sauce. And in the breading... there was a sort of 'cake' flavour. Like Betty Crocker was back in the kitchen.

The Mixed Vegetables were really fantastic. But... they're going to run out and I will still have all this other weird and difficult stuff to eat.

The lady who took my call and served me when I went in to get it was very nice. Nice enough for me to almost feel bad about leaving this review. Almost.

I have eaten many Chinese buffet places in my life. ThIs is the worst by a long shot. The steam pans barely had any food in them, mostly a tiny bit. The food was dried out, The meat was overcooked and hard, we couldn’t chew it. It should never be served. The variety was very limited. The deep fried meat was so greasy. The soup- I could barely fill a bowl, I never tasted such awful hot and sour soup. If you are thinking of eating here, walk on by.

Our soups were in plastic containers almost burnt our tongues. Within 30 min. I was on the toilet for the rest of the evening.

My wife's family has been coming here for years. Today we ordered our usual and the wings were rotten ?. We called and were not able to come to a resolution unfortunately. They offered to cook more wings for us but we were worried about getting another rotten batch. Unfortunate but we won't be going back.
