Our favourite wine is Baco Noir. Well worth the experience!
Great place for local wines, the maple wine was new and delicious ?
Nice place decent wines but please turn down the music. WWE could not talk to each other or even hear the waitress. The waitress had the band turn it down a bit so we could talk and then when they came out for the second set it was so loud we could not hear each other again. Very disappointing
Small wineries enjoy the flexibility to experiment and to be creative. Quai du Vin exemplified this with unique blends, uncommon varietals, and creative techniques. A blend of Baco/Marechal/Cab Sauv? You won't find that at any big-bulk winery, but Quai du Vin's winemaker created a delightfully unique, easy drinking wine with this, their Signature Blend. They also have a solid lineup of single varietals that are worth the trip.
All good things must pass, alas. The Quai du Vin family retired recently and passed the estate to a group of new owners with strong roots in the Niagara Escarpment winemaking region. Given the quality of the grapes being cultivated at Quai, we are confident that good things are coming in the very near future. The proposed new name for the winery is *supposedly* "Skye Chase," I know, I know, right? We'll all just have to wait and see what the ad agency actually comes up with. Skye Chase? Perfect name for the protagonist in my next beach novel:
"You won't get a conviction on me, Chase," Gunn groweled.
Skye peered over her sunglasses and laughed.
- The End -
Stay tuned!
Shout-out to Hannah for being a great host during our visit!
Always enjoy dropping in here to pick up some wine. Staff is always friendly, helpful and never pushy. Best winery in the area, bar none.
Make it part of a loop after visiting Port Stanley for a walk along the beach, some food over at Mackie's and finish with a stop here for a glass of wine. It's a great way to spend a Sunday or any day for that matter.
Had a very good time. The wine is above average (not phenomenal) but the atmosphere is very nice
Delicious wine, kind staff, beautiful views and an overall great experience. Highly recommended for wine enthusiasts and/or anyone looking to have some fun and taste some wine.
Customer service is an all time low, I got a gift card for a Christmas gift was told that the dome experience was for 4 people and the fire pit was for at least 6 people. I am now looking to redeem my gift card and am being told that I need to buy 2 fire pits for 6 people and they have been nothing but terrible to deal with, they are not being reasonable nor accommodating. Overall I will never be going back to this terrible establishment!
Excellent wine . Informative tastings

This experience was super fun and relaxing! The dome is warmed with a small heater and lap blankets available. Maximum 4 people. Comes with a yummy charcuterie board . They have fabulous mulled wine! And you can even order a chocolate charcuterie if you want!Cheryl, our server was very attentive and cheerful! The vineyard has such a serene atmosphere you leave feeling relaxed. Highly recommend10 out of 10What a fabulous experience to share with family and friends!
We booked one of the domes and it was so fun. Really fun experience. Will be doing it again.
We had a great visit to Quai du Vin as part of our Toast the Coast tour. The Spirit of the Season offering was a sample of their Cuvée Brut and a delicious pear and brie crostini. The Cuvée was delightful, and a bottle came home with us. My partner also added a bottle of Baco Noir for home.Lots of outdoor spaces for the warmer months and cozy domes for winter outdoor visits.
We usually stop by when we are in the area. This is Elgin County’s oldest estate winery with vineyards planted back in 1970. On this visit we sampled some wines, purchased a 2016 Chardonnay, a 2016 Merlot, and a bottle of Sangria. Before leaving, we enjoyed a lovely glass of red wine on the Wine Press Terrace, and then captured more autumn pictures in the nearby woods. Highly recommend a visit to this lovely winery. In addition to purchasing in-store, you can order online and have it sent directly to your door.
Jamie and the team are fantastic. Affordable, approachable wines and a beautiful property. Fun offerings like Maple Wine and Sangria, the jellies are great too!
