I wanted to love this place because they were able to make my son’s cake with short notice. However, the cake was nothing special I could have made it myself for how it tasted. I actually have made better tasting cakes/cupcakes myself at home! For the price I really don’t think it was worth it. The buttercream was not smooth looking it looked like someone just slapped the buttercream on in a rush and I only asked for one thing to put on the side of the cake I thought they would have wrote it on but they just printed it on edible paper and slapped it on crooked. I’m not hating on anyone the employee who took my order was very kind and friendly I just think they could have done a better job and took the time to make sure everything looked nice at least. I don’t think I would ever go back again though to be honest. La cakery in London has delicious cakes for a lot cheaper. Thank you for your service but it’s just not for me.

First would like to start with never pay for your cake up front with ruby blues on st thomas.
I thought I would be nice and purchase a cake for my son's girlfriends sweet 16 party. So I ordered the the cake Wednesday at 4:30pm. I then found out the next. So I called ruby's at 4pm Thursday wishing to cancel and I'll pay a penalty for canceling or some thing.
They told me I can not cancel until the boss was back. They informed me she would call me when she is back in tomorrow. Friday morning at 9am I get the call. Sorry we can not return your money as we have already started working on your cake.
After I questioned why my cake was already made over 30 hours before picking it up. Just a simple question she responded very rude and then went on to hang up on me.
I thought maybe I pay a penalty for canceling or some thing but no. Just tell me no then continue to be rude and hang up on me.
Worst customer service ever. Now no one will even eat the cake cause who can trust some one making thier food that just treated them bad and hung up on them.

this so called bakery stole 100$ from a family member offering to make my daughters sweet 16. they started an order with no flavors requested yet. so they said we couldn't cancel our order which was only placed the day before. they refuse to refund the money or re do the cake they made the mistake on. they took the entire budget for my daughters cake now she has to go without a cake for her sweet 16. I would never ever go to this place again.

I've tried many desserts from RubyBlues and all have been delicious! My favourites are the sticky toffee pudding and cheesecake! The owner Sam is so lovely and everytime I go in the service is so kind and welcoming. Really great place to get some desserts and nice seating area to enjoy them in!

RubyBlues Bakery is in a great location and has many choices of sweet treats to choose from. I have yet to order a cake from them but visited for a quick snack pickup for a family event. THe portions are generous and the lemon tart was my favorite. The only suggestion I would make is for some nice lounge or classic 50s music to be playing in the background.
RubyBlues serves an absolutely lovely high tea. The food was wonderful; a balanced mix between sweet and savory. The decor is beautiful, and sets a wonderful atmosphere. My daughter loved it, and we both look forward to visiting again someday.

We ordered our wedding cake and it was beautiful, it was exactly what we were wanting! Each tier was a different flavour (because my husband and I couldn’t agree on just one!) and it was absolutely delicious, especially the lemon flavour. The consultations leading up to the wedding were relaxed and friendly, Sam is very good at creating a welcoming environment! Everything was very affordable considering this cake was made for a wedding. I would recommend for anyone wanting a simple but elegant looking wedding cake like ours!
