We stopped in the other day for a lemon long john and an apple pie fritter. We were really impressed with the quality of the pastries, and we'll definitely come back in the future.

Best donuts anywhere. I haven't tried much of their other items, only a few pastries but it has all been great. The service has always been pleasant as well.

Years ago I had cancer surgery and it took away the luxury of enjoying donuts for me. No matter how many times I would try and eat a Tim Horton's donut they tasted just terrible to me. I walked into Spicer's Bakery and thought, why not try something different. You could see the obvious difference in the donuts quality and the price you pay is actually worth it for what you get. I bought a half dozen donuts and a couple lemon long johns. Oh the memories came flashing back to when my grandpa bought me the lemon long johns when we would visit the Aylmer location. I had completely forgotten that......but wow wow and wow they were amazing and the dough so soft and yummy! Talk about a world of difference! I was finally able to eat a donut again after over 10yrs of having to go without. Thank you Spicer's for offering a first class top quality donut! Your icing and fillings are top notch. Lots of parking spaces makes it easy to run in and out, plus you're prices are not bad at all. The various options of other deserts, breads, pies etc are amazing as well. There is always something for everyone in your store!

Stopped by yesterday to grab some quick goodies for my son's birthday. The cupcakes were extremely dry and the icing was hard and crunchy. the lemon tarts were too flaky that the were following a part and the taste was bland.

Tried their Sour Cherry, Butter, and Raisin Tarts. The sour cherry had a weird gelatinous texture, the raisin was too strong of a flavor, and the butter tart seemed a bit old and overcooked. It didn't scratch the itch at all. Unfortunately the tarts here were not good at all.
