My family’s go-to coffee spot in St. Thomas. I actually found the roastery across the street first - which led me to Streamliners. Great story behind the business - easy 5-star.

I’m genuinely disappointed — I don’t usually leave reviews, but I felt it was necessary in this case.
This café has always been more of a treat for me because it’s on the expensive side, so I only go once in a while. When I stopped in recently to pick up some coffees and teas for myself and a few friends, I was hit immediately with extremely loud music. It was so loud that it was difficult to focus on ordering, and I honestly don’t know how anyone sitting inside could comfortably have a conversation.
What really let me down, though, were the drink options. Almost everything is now pre-sweetened, which was never the case before. I’m not sure when this change happened, but it’s a real downgrade. I had been looking forward to their chai latte — it used to be the best in town — only to find out it’s now made with a pre-sweetened mix. The same goes for the matcha latte. Even the hot chocolate isn’t made with real chocolate anymore, just a syrup.
It’s sad to see a place that used to feel special lose some of the charm and quality that made it worth the occasional splurge.

Not worth it
Absolutely amazing coffee. I'm a coffee snob and was on the hunt for a good cup of coffee in St. Thomas and I'm so glad I found this place. Amazing chemex coffees. And they make the best latte I've ever had - New York Central.

Great coffee

Food was ok. A bit overpriced, even mire expensive than Starbucks, for a regular tasting coffee.
Service absolutely terrible. Unfortunately, won’t recommend or go back. :(
I went into Streamliners after visiting the market to get one of their delicious lattes and a scone. As usual, the food did not disappoint. The service on the other hand was less than ideal. My visit started well, with my order being taken. I was invited to take a seat and my order would be brought out. I did so and my latte was delivered to my table quickly. I waited for my scone, but the two people working sat down at a nearby table with a group of their friends or family and were absorbed in an unappealing conversation about nail fungus. I waited a while, then got up and went to the counter. The young man who was working noticed me and got up and got me the scone once I reminded him that I was still waiting for it. Once the scone was delivered, he went back to sitting with the group again. At no point did either employee apologize for this.
