Was here early for some cover band show. Contemplating whether I should wait til I get home for food or try out their menu. I was very impressed with their pulled pork on a bun. The xlcoleslaw on top of pulled pork made all the difference. Their fries was very good too, certainly not from the McCain bags from No Frills.

Got 1 piece fish n chips today.
Chips were Luke warm and chewy and DRY. The fish was WAY SMALLER than it should be.
THE COST TO ME HAS GONE UP , for sure eh😳

Definitely recommend the fish and chips.
Sadly, like many St Thomas restaurants/bars it would be nice to see some local or regional beers. Railway City or Caps Off or Collective Arts or Mill Street or Steam Whistle in addition to generic Beer Store selection.

I really enjoyed the fish and chips here. Usually the batter is really thick and greasy. It upsets my stomach so I always peel it off. I ate it all the batter with the fish it was so light. Delicious

Always liked the Back Alley Bar & Grill, it has character, not like so many generic looking restaurants. The food is good and the prices reasonable. The staff is also friendly.

Average bar, star act had excellent sound, chicken wings okay, and it's a plain place with some impressive rock n roll stars on the walls.

Awesome bar with the great people of St. Thomas who are extremely welcoming. This is THE hotspot in town for live music, great food, and great company. Cheers! 🤘🤘🤘😎❤️🎼🎵

My mom raved about the fish and chips here. It was great! I had the wings and they were overcooked and Parmesan was grated on top and fell right off. Obviously not hot enough to melt the cheese. The wings were also bland. I've never added salt to wings ever, but I did there.
The waitress left the room and didn't come back for over 10 mins. We had our dishes piled at the end of our table. We were looking for the bill but didn't see her.
Other than that the waitress was attentive and brought condiments early.
Might need an update in decor. The seats at the booth leaned toward the middle with two of us there. The seats were too far from the table. We had to sit on the edge of the seat to eat our food.
The fish was great!!

This place has great food and is very clean. The wait staff was fast and friendly. The bill came and it was very reasonable. We will be back again soon!
