A birthday luncheon went of without a hitch or complaint. Pushcar provided excellent service and accommodated individual needs. I will definitely be visiting this restaurant again. Well done chef and staff.

It is Saturday evening on Valentine's Day and we arrived without a reservation, but the hostess was able to accommodate us. Our server, Trudy, was absolutely lovely, very friendly, pleasant and quite helpful with the meal choices. We chose the Prix Fixe Valentine's menu ($120 for 2 people which included 1 appetizer to share (from 3 choices), a main course (4 choices), and a dessert (1 choice) to share. From the Valentine's menu, we chose the Rock Shrimp to start; braised short ribs (very tender), lamb chops (melt-in-your-mouth tender); and creme brulee cheesecake (sooo very creamy). Everything was delicious!! We also had a cocktail each to start and some lovely Malbec wine with our meal and decaf coffee with our dessert.

The live entertainment was very pleasant. It was a single female guitarist (Cindy) with a lovely voice and a really good selection of soft dinner music.

A lovely way to spend the evening of Valentine's Day.

Classic elevated dining experience. We had thr bruschetta, seafood pasta, and Thai green curry. Everything was delicious, especially the bruschetta.

It was a quiet Thursday evening in February with few other patrons, but I expect that it gets busier as the weather warms, so a reservation might help. The interior has a bit of eclectic charm. Pushkar did a great job as our server. We'd easily come back again.

Gristled and fatty, greasy prime rib. Nasty. Soggy salad. Good coffee. Thank God for Nicole, she saved the night.

The atmosphere was cold, not cozy or cheery. The best part of the decor is the interesting original paintings displayed and for sale. The music was not good and suited to a younger clientele but all of the customers were older adults. We asked if they could switch to another genre but our server said they only have one play list. We asked her to turn it down which she did. The food was good but not hot just lukewarm warm, We think Bistro has potential. We live in St Thomas and would love it to be successful

We occasionally have come here for 20 years since it was the Beanery. I work every other New Years and this was my year I didn’t have to work, so we reserved a spot for dinner with my husband and kids.

My husband and I decided to choose the new years special which was $80 each. You got a starter, main and dessert. My starter was good, my husband got the meatballs. Disappointing as they were cool. I wanted to ask the server if this was how they were supposed to be served. He didn’t want any issues so I didn’t say anything. I had chose the lobster ravioli with scallops for my main. The server brought my dish and there were SIX ravioli. There was no lobster to be tasted in any of them. I received 4 small scallops on the side. Super disappointing. My husband chose the short ribs, which tasted good, but the mashed potatoes were lukewarm as well. We both decided on the crème brûlée for dessert and it was very runny and still had granulated sugar on top.

I’m actually pretty angry about the dinner we paid so much money for. We could have had a dinner for the 4 of us for less at The Keg with better food. I could have had a lobster tail and tenderloin for less. This will be our last visit here. I do have to say the kids pasta was generous and they liked it. I wish I just would have ordered their crepes (which were good last time I had them) instead lol of this rip off New Years dinner.

The new menu changes are not preferred. No appetizers on the lunch menu, shortened menu, the Thai curry chicken was removed and was their best dish beyond the prime rib. Not having lunch appetizers and not visually being able to see the desserts in the fridge is going to drop food sales and seeing the desserts help people to decide easier and put it on their mind. Not a fan of these new changes. We have frequented here often before the menu changes and much preferred the old menu and being able to see the visual of the cake display.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, seating us quickly and the food came out quickly too. The restaurant was bright and clean too.

There was a beautiful live singer, but unfortunately she was drowned out by extremely loud middle eastern music blaring from the kitchen. We asked twice that they turn it down, but they didn’t seem to care.

The bacon on the burger came out raw/undercooked, and when we raised this concern the wait staff took the bacon back from the burger and had it cooked more - very unsanitary. They should’ve just done new bacon.

The roast was fairly fatty, but cooked to proper request. Was surprised to receive only 4 pieces of vegetable. The mashed potatoes were a small single scoop and weren’t consistent and had chunks throughout. Very small serving for $31

Overall, we’d give it another try, but felt value for the portion sizes was off and that the environment was not as expected.

Today, my parents and I tried out The Bistro for lunch in Downtown St. Thomas! I have always wanted to try out their Lobster Melt and it was very tasty along with the Corn Chowder that was the soup of the day!! I had a Pina Colada mocktail to drink. The waitress was very kind!! I hope to come back to this place again someday!!!!
