ordered take out fish and chips with no salt. when we got home with it there was so much salt it couldn't be eaten. There is a medical reason we asked for no salt! VERY DISAPPOINTED

Usually great we felt 4 times we went.May 12, mothers day..watched reserved people waiting. No one came. 40 min ..to leave.Food changed, wait and wait...Hopefully will do better

I’m really trying hard to like this place with the new ownership but every time that we have either eat in or took food out there’s always been an issue. Thankfully the first two times it was resolved just annoying experiences.The other weekend we order two poutines I always ask for everything separated because I don’t want the poutine to be soggy when I get home. I don’t know why it’s so hard for their kitchen staff to figure that out , but it was wrong and when I got there, the manager was AWESOME and got them all to remake the food. My whole entire meal appreciated so much and of course the food was amazing. The hard part about this part was I was sitting at the bar waiting another 45 minutes for them to remake all the food. And with a very hungry family at homeThis last time (tonight) same stuff as I always do and asked for the poutine separate which they did but they also did the burger separate and forgot the chicken for the buffalo chicken poutine , put the wrong sauce on my chicken strips and gave the wrong sauce for the buffalo chicken poutine it’s supposed to be a blue cheese sauce and they gave us some kind of sour cream

Stopped in for lunch today. Food and service were excellent. Only issue there was fruit flies around our table and the next one. That is enough to keep us away. Also no accessible washroom and ramp or entrance to the restraurant. With the renovations recently you would think that was a consideration.

Stopped in for lunch. Haven't been here in a minute, but I'm glad I stopped.My kind of place. Relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, and good food. I ordered the Nashville Chicken sandwich. The side pickle was crisp and tasty, the fries perfectly cooked and seasoned. If I had to pick on one thing that I would improve i would change the bun and toast or grill it. Other than that, the sandwich was also delicious. Service was fast and friendly, and though service was quick, I was not made to feel rushed. $ value for food was good, and I will be back.

Parking: There are a few nice size potholes to be aware of at the Netherby entrance.

My family and I have been twice since the commercial re-opened.Both times we went the food has been mediocre...My chicken wings tasted like they came in a box from the frozen food section. And two wings were a tad raw in the middle...2/10 for me.My wife ordered the 1851 bowl (waited roughly 30 mins for it when it wasn't busy) and they served it without avocado. She politely asked for avocado and the waitress informed them that they were out of it, but they could give her some guacamole or salsa instead... It would of been nice to know when ordering that they were out of ingredients...also, my father in law ordered the broasted chicken, and 2 of his pieces were rare inside. The served brought the manager over and she said " well our cooks cook the chicken to an internal temp of 180, so do you want me to take it off the bill?" and didn't offer to give him frsher more cooked pieces.We declined the refund, we're not like that.I hope they improve because it doesn't compare at all to the previous commercial roadhouse.The staff and atmosphere are good, they just need to really improve their food.

The food is ok but the wait time is just too long. It was not even busy and we had to wait 45 minutes for hamburger and salad. Too long to wait for simple food! I hate to think how much longer you would wait when it is buys or for other kinds of food. Not worth it. Sorry!

Went to the commercial tonight for dinner. Was our third visit since the new ownership and we were so disappointed with the food. I ordered the fish and chips with poutine, the fish was good the poutine gravy was horrible I couldn’t even finish it, the coleslaw tasted like it had been sitting out for a while, like old lettuce NASTY!!!. We also ordered tonight’s special which was the prime rib 0/10 do not recommend the presentation looked horrible, I wouldn’t have even fed it to my dog. Was told they couldn’t take it off the bill because we ate most of the prime rib.The service was great, for sure miss the old commercial and how it used to be, we will not be returning which is very sad.We informed our waitress about our experience and she totally understood, she recommended we put a review on google because the new managers aren’t listening to her or any of the staff when it comes to in house concerns or customers that come into the restaurant.Wine and beer was good!

The food is great, I just really wish they would expand the menu as the selection is very limited compared to the old owners. I miss the chicken wraps, classic homestyle meals, etc.
