The Smokin' Barrel Bar & Grill - Stirling

Finally got to try this place. Have to say we were disappointed. The service was excellent- she was friendly, fast and courteous. The food was okay, but not outstanding. The real issue for us was the atmosphere. It was CRAZY loud - we couldn't have a conversation at our table. Plus the house flies. They were sooo bad.
Sorry, but just not for us, we won't be back.

There for lunch. The restaurant was spotless. The food was amazing with excellent service. So fortunate to have such a great spot in Stirling. Well done and we'll certainly be back. Love supporting our local businesses when they put in the effort to be successful as The Smokin Barrel has!

Our waitress we had today (10Sep) was an absolute sweetheart!!!!

The food was absolutely amazing. We had fish and chips and the reuben.

I tried fried chicken with wedge fries. The chicken was delicious. Crispy outside and juicy inside. The wedge fries were really good. Sometimes wedge fries are undercooked inside but these were perfect. I will definitely get this again.

Lea was a fantastic server. The brisket and chicken tacos were incredible and filling. Best margarita we’ve had. Not sweet. Love the town of Sterling.

We picked up a 6 PC barrel of the Fried Chicken and wow it was the best. Tender juicy chicken with a light crispy batter done till golden brown. The two sides were potato salad & creamy coleslaw both made in house and delicious.
Service as always was super friendly.

We stopped in for a quick drink/snack before attending a show at the theater.

We had the strawberry lemonade, soo refreshing! Fresh cut fries & Martini doughnuts; lil cinnamon doughnuts, chocolate sauce & whip cream!!

We had the brisket sandwich. They were served on a pretzel bun and were as delicious as everyone had previously review them. I was told the chef smokes his own brisket for the restaurant, which is a big bonus for freshness and flavor. Also so had the homemade turkey soup which was good. PS if you want crackers you will have to bring your own.
