Last Sunday I was driving from USA to London; craved for ice cream and decided to go there via drive thru. They were extremely busy but still they managed to handle everything so wonderfully. The girl on the window was managing patiently; I don’t her name but had some tag on her cap.

Very disappointed in this DQ. We were so excited to have a DQ town and this location however we will be taking our business back to Hyde park DQ. We ordered 5 blizzards, one had absolutely no cookie dough in it. I spoke to an employee and she said she would make a new one. The same girl came back out and said the cookie dough was as at the bottom. After going home there was none in the entire blizzard. We will not be returning.

Just got home with my mini skor + Reese's blizzard. I was very disappointed that there was very little candy in it saying I ordered extra and that it wasn't even completely mixed.

Food was okay. But.. the smell here is pretty awful. Every time I’ve been in it smells like a mix of mildew and sewer. I’m not sure if the freezers beside the doors are leaking or what, but dang. It’s ripe.

I used to go to DQ several times per year before I left Ottawa in 2006. Since then, the prices have increased noticeably and quite rapidly. I would say that DQ's prices were very quite reasonable in the early 2000s, especially since the one I used to visit would only open seasonally during summer/early autumn for maybe 6 months. A large chocolate dipped cone around that time would have been around $2.00-$2.50.

Anyhow, I thought I would treat myself to something more elaborate: a banana split. Today (08 July 2024), I paid $7.90 (all-in) for this scrumptious treat with that incredibly thick and creamy quality that seems to stay very consistent over the decades. (Certainly, they sometimes have a bad day when the machine refuses to make the typical thick creamy consistency.)

The young lady who served me was very confident and friendly. When my order was ready, she was incredibly kind to deliver it right to my table - talk about nice service! This is a clean new location in Strathroy that is very much with the times. It's too bad though that the modern prices don't entice people for many return visits, but what am I saying, I'm dreaming of a bygone era that persists in my mind. We're living in the (bad) times of hyperinflation.

Service and food is great. But when we were walking to our vehicle i rolled my ankle in the garden area between patio and front walkway. It’s been over a year and it looks like construction still isn’t finished.

Stopped in quick to grab a DQ Ice cream cake. Staff were very friendly and helpful and they had a great selection. No wonder since the price of an ice cream cake has gone up to $40! ??Anyway, great job team!

I ordered a meal from skip the dishes for my kids for lunch and an item was forgotten. I contacted the store and management was extremely apologetic and sent my children their missing items and a free blizzard at no expense. This was refreshing to experience and definitely makes us want to eat here again. I’ve shared my experience with our friends. Thank you.

The burgers/ fries I would not Recommend. They are known for their ice cream not food. Their strawberry cheesecake ice cream cake was not good. It didn’t even taste like it. Their service was okay. The atmosphere was okay it just looked normal nothing really special about it. The fries looked gross.
