Shelby's Legendary Shawarma - Caradoc St

This is our first time at Shelbys
Definitely not our last. What a great place. The shwarma was delicious and the service was absolutely incredible. We ate in and liked the atmosphere. Thank you Shelby's yummy

Shelby’s is a solid shahwarma chain, always consistent. Their shahwarma bowls are just amazing, the sauces and the rice is just so good! Service was great and I’m surprised to find a halal restaurant around here that’s so good!

Very poor experience, the food (takeout) tasted old and was rubbery . We have had many meals before that were okay but never going back to the restaurant again ever

I've eaten at Shelby's in London for years. I've eaten at Shelby's in Windsor since it opened.. I would say this is the wish version of Shelby's. The food was sub par. Not the usual Shelby's quality. The guy tore our shawarma apart as it got stuck in the press... Did he make a new one... Nope just stuffed it in the box.The restaurant clearly doesn't have working air conditioning. I wasn't sure if they were making food or melting steel. It was so hot it was uncomfortable. I would say if this is your first Shelby's experience... Please don't judge the entire Chain by this location. Go to London or Windsor... For the real Shelby's experience.

Ordered the legendary shawarma bowl with half rice/half fries.Was supposed to have 2x the protein. It was pretty much just rice, maybe 10 fries in it, and was very difficult to find any chicken in it. Won't order from Shelby's again.

the first 6 months location was open was quality and yummy ... but now it's dry meat over cooked wrap green tomatoes and they try to nickel and dime you for extra onions which is absurd and this very last time I try it I order beef schwarma... i get up to the register and pay seeing the order on the screen it says lamb and beef... I say I didn't order Lamb they say it's now mixed into the beef for the last 3 months.. they neglected to make it clear and the meat no longer has the clove spice just bland and granular and weird smell. I like cooked lamb but not as a mystery meat..They also don't have fresh parsley... so this location won't be open much longer. never again. oh and the crispy fries are now soggy and smell rancid. May sound harsh but I have to be very clear as prices of our goods and services... going up and the customer service AND quality should be following that 'trend' with strong value, FRESH products, no skimping and skimming. This applies to many food outlets in 2024 unfortunately. Not just picking on Shelby's.

The service was quick, and the staff were friendly. They asked me what I like on my wrap, and made it great! It just felt a bit dead inside and unwelcoming due to the atmosphere. I bet this place would improve greatly if they made it feel more cozy when you walk in such as a different layout. There is just a big space in the centre, which I think makes it feel this way. Maybe even an art piece or round bench in the middle would really fill that empty space :)
