The chairs need felt pads on the feet to stop that horrid screeching every time someone pulls out a chair. It's worse than fingernails on a Chalk board. C'est affreu le bruit cause par les chaises.

We went for lunch, I ordered the Buddha bowl with rice. My plate came and the rice was hot, a ton of raw onion and raw canned mushrooms with 4 pcs of cooked chicken. Had to taste the onion to make sure they were not cooked. It was discussing. Worst serving plate I’ve ever seen and the waitress that served it was very rude because I returned my plate. I was not gonna eat that disgusting plate. Then I ordered a quessadilla and it took 20 min for her to tell me she hadn’t ordered because the owner wanted to charge me for the plate I did not eat. They’ve lost my visit forever. That’s young waitress had the worst attitude ever.

This is not our first time at this place. Their food is good. We stopped in today for lunch, there were only two places left, popular place. I believe the restaurant is an old railway car, so it is long and narrow.. but it works.
Hubby had his go to meal a club house. He said it was great.. nice fresh cut fries.
I decided to try a Buddah bowl... I saw a few people sitting around us had it You get to create your own. Choose romainr, mixed greens, iceberg or rice, add veggies, protein (hamburger, chicken, steak or chick peas) add mixed nuts and dressing of your choice. There were a few other options with added charges.
The combo I chose was iceberg with tomatoes, cukes, mushrooms, and pickled cabbage. Steak for protein, mixed nuts and a garlic dressing. The bowl was a good size. When the waitress brought my bowl, it had what looked like a chopped up hamburger patty. I said, I ordered the steak.. she said that is our steak, I think they call it a minute steak - I call it a hamburger pattie!! I ate it anyway.. I tried the picked cabbage.. not my thing!! I was expecting a sauerkraut type cabbage.. that is not what was on my bowl.. whatever, I was able to move it over. The mushrooms were the killer!!! Cold canned mushrooms!! Never ever have I had canned mushrooms on a freah salad!! Needless to say, it made me laugh when I was eating it.

This unassuming little building holds a wonderful little diner with excellent, kind service, with delicious food. I had a plate of fried pickerel and chips, the breading was light and flavorful, and the fish fresh.
Parking: The place can be busy at times, making parking a little difficult to find as the lot out front is limited in size. We found some open spots around the back.
