Forever the winner of the poutine stand showdown for me. Larry's is the place to go if you love cheese curds. Somehow, their fries manage to remain crispy while doused in gravy. Pogo is also excellent. Now, I've discovered their delicious pistachio milkshake. You won't regret eating here!! I don't anywhere near Sturgeon Falls but I make a point to stop here any time I am within an hour or so's drive! Service is also lovely!

Professional staff.
Not the highest quality fries or cheese but for the fair price. No complaints here.

I'm pretty sure my fries were undercooked as they were white ish and not really golden, my first bite tasted like water which was weird. I'm not entirely convinced that the poutine sauce was on point. The cheese curds were good. My bacon cheeseburger hamburger was acceptable, like it made the bar for a burger. But nothing really over the top. I'm pretty sure my bacon was missing and I don't recall tasting cheese. All in all, I don't know if this was just a fluke or if this is normal. My food came out pretty fast given what we ordered which might have more to do with everything. My partner's deep fried pickles though looked like they were made on point.
Always make sure the food is made right and made to the best of ability.
Dietary restrictions: They did accomodate for gluten free.

Service is SO slow.
I was will start by saying the Fry's were well cooked and the cheese curds are great from Quebec but the gravy was a lighter gravy that did not taste good it was floury and bland on taste im disappointed the gf had a French fry and it was good they have gluten free options witch is also great but the gravy for there poutine was one of the not so good ones I have had so far and I stop at every chip stand I can specifically for poutine do not get one here the gravy isn't good you guys need a better gravy to go with those great Quebec cheese curds pretty please try a beefer gravy roast drippings somthing to add flavour instead of it tasting like flour
Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free burger buns and gravy no idea on how the gluten free gravy is but if it's anything like the normal gravy I wouldn't recommend it

Visiting from the states and asked for recs for best chips. We were given 3 options, Rivs, Larry’s and Moniques. We heard good things about each one so we decided to do a taste test at the first two.
Rivs was good but when we tried Larry’s, it was great! I prefer my fries and “pogos” (corn dogs) more on the crispy side and that’s exactly what Larry’s offered. Only downside for both, and maybe this is a northern thing, a bit more salt.
We will be back and when we do still go visit both but start with Larry’s ;)
Also my dog, Bailey (@sirbaileyshark), loved that he was tall enough to order.
