All the pastries and doughnuts we ordered at Beard's were great! What a wonderful place! We have a vegan in the family and he was very, very happy to be eating a croissant.

What a wonderful and unexpected find. All the options looked great and the hardest part was making a decision. The cookie and toffee bar taste great and I am having a hard time waiting for breakfast to eat the almond croissant.

I adore the idea of a Vegan bakery, I have been to several Vegan bakeries that also take ingredients very seriously and I find this one does not, unfortunately. I am not a fan (along with many others) in regards to the canola oils and refined oils/sugars being used in their baked goods. The talent, beauty and design are definitely there but the ingredient list needs improvement. If I am paying top dollar for "vegan baked goods" I would like them made without inflammatory oils and ingredients and this is beyond possible. If not, I would rather make them from home. I feel the same about the ice cream, my experience was not pleasant and it's due to additives, gums, fillers and synthetic ingredients in some of the products. Sending love.💛

I had the best oatmilk latte I’ve had anywhere and really enjoyed the raspberry bar.

Phenomenal baking treats & service! The absolute best chocolate chip cookie of my life, didn't even realize it was vegan until I looked up the bakery online afterwards! We love to support great local shops like Beards

Always really good food, even for those not vegan. Dispelled any previous negative experiences with bad vegan baked goods. Love the blueberry muffins!

Was not a fan of our drinks. We had the matcha and golden milk, both of which were extremely powdery and honestly off putting. Was rather disappointed after reading the reviews for this place.

The desserts however were delicious and fresh! Would try again to give them another chance

Beards is a really really nice vegan cafe, they had a nice selection of classic cafe drinks with multiple vegan milk options - we had a vanilla oat latte that was great. Then they have a bunch of really delicious looking baked goods (also vegan) and we had the best donut we had ever had! A lemon poppy seed donut 😍 it was so good! Highly recommend! They do have a little sitting area too, kind of a sit up bar style on either side of the cafe and it looks like in the summer they would have outside seating which would also be very very cute ! If you’re in the area, it’s definitely a good spot to check out, especially if you’re vegan but honestly even if you’re not, you will not be disappointed with their treats!
