This place looks like some guy's 1970s/1980s basement rec room (I mean that in the best possible way), and feels like this guy is your buddy and has invited you over. Everyone in the place was happy. Wings were great. Beer was great. Apple cheesecake was to die for. Great service too - made you feel right at home.

First time in many years we went to Eddies (live in Hanmer), brought some friends from out of town for lunch. It was wonderful! From the front door until we left it was excellent. Service, food, prices, were all above and beyond for these times we live in. Haven't eaten such tasty meals in ages. Our company was happy (and full) and we will be back soon! Anyone on the fence looking for a great meal and good prices its a no-brainer, GO TO EDDIES.

I had been visiting Eddies for over 30+ years...great wings and atmosphere. Did an order for take out...received a fraction of what I had ordered, called in and they stood by the amount of food. We were all shocked and very disappointed....Eddie's is now just another pub. Perhaps left to gauge away every cent it can to get by. Absolute shame of what it seems to have become.

During a very difficult time, as our family gathered to grieve the loss of our beloved father, Eddie’s provided a cozy, comforting, and private space for us to be together. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, allowing us to share tears, laughter, and beautiful memories in peace.
The staff went above and beyond to ensure we were well taken care of without ever intruding, their quiet kindness and respect did not go unnoticed, and it meant so much to us.
On top of that, the food was exceptional. Fresh ingredients, generous portions, and consistently delicious dishes made it feel like the kind of nourishment your soul needs during hard moments. Whether you're visiting for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, there’s always something truly satisfying on the menu.
