Big Dawgz Poutinerie Family •
inside wacky wings, 187 Shaughnessy St, Sudbury

“First, it must be stated that big dawgz is a ghost kitchen running out of whacky wings, so if u dislike whacky wings, you may want to avoid.Anyways.Alright. .big dawgz poutinery. A place I never heard of on Paris St. Now if u call urself a poutinery. My expectations are gunna raise as you are essentially calling urself A specialist In poutine. Well we will order the classic poutine. If u can't even get the basics right then you deserve to BURN IN HELL. ok that's a little much but I'm pretty sure ur spouse cheats on uAnyyyywhoo. Let's start with the mushroom capsThey are....surprisingly very good. Here I was thinking caps reached their peak.and u cud only do worse by over cooking them ...but nope big dawgz showed me something new. There a very slight sweetness to them. I typically hate sweet flavours but damn. Whoda thunk sweet would work for mushroom caps. Well done big dawgz...very well done. I also appreciate that their big and full ..not just badder. I also LOVE that they include the head and a bit of stem and have many seasoning options. Folks. .this is some high class mushroom capOk. The poutine. First . Im not so impressed by the portion ...it's not embarassing like Tony vs(their pizza quality may be good and we can debate but their poutines are without question terrible ) but it's certainly not up to chip stand standards. At nearly 20 dollars. I wanted moreAnyways. Let's see here. The menu reads they use pepperjack gravy.Well ok I'm sold. Gimme dat poutine. It's good ...I dunn I suppose upper mid tier. As a poutinery . I expect something kick butt but this doesn't even come close to Leslie's or let's say . Colonial inn. I appreciate the amount of gravy used tho. I typically order extra gravy with my poutines but this was just right. The curds are, surprisingly, excessive. There's TOO many. I prefer to taste the gravy to the curds but in this case, the curds are overpowering. But hey, I wont blame ya for having too much of something. I can easily imagine someone preferring poutine this wayPersonally. Id order again but for the side dishes. Their caps were pretty darn good. I'm curious to try their onion rings and waffers.I suppose it's worth a second shot. Maybe another poutine style as wellIt's good stuff. Worth a look at leastIncluded is a pic of my dog cuz she's pretty“
