This is beyond great. Service is amazing. Food is so flavorful. Deserts are the ultimate finishing touch. I hate salad, but tried their Greek salad. I was wrong I love salad. This is not the old Gus's, this is ..... I can't describe it. You need to experience it to understand. The prices are very good. You will pay almost the same price for synthetic fast food, but this is real and freshly made.
This place has been around for over 70 years and there’s a reason why. It feels like taking a trip back in time when you walk in. Much of the decor probably hasn’t changed in 40+ years. The food is delicious and servings are all very generous. While you cannot compare this place to modern restaurants in terms of modern style, Gus’s provides a warm, friendly atmosphere with delicious food and owners who genuinely care about their business. Only staying in Sudbury two nights. We ate dinner here the first night and we're so impressed that we came back for breakfast the next morning. The food was homemade service was impeccable, and prices were great. Breakfast portions were so large that we called it brunch and didn't eat again until dinner. Highly recommend!
