Went here with my dad growing up all the time. Wanted to go for the first time in years. If I could give 0 stars I would. Both my dad and I felt sick while eating the food. Everything that was suppose to be crisp was mushy, making us literally lose our appetite. I ended up just finishing with a salad. It was the only thing I could eat without getting sick. My dad ended up finishing with the dumpling soup, and he said it was good (not amazing) but definitely not as bad as the other food. Everything was just mushy and gross, worst Chinese food I’ve ever had.
They also had half the food they normally would have. There was nothing with broccoli mostly just breaded stuff. The only really fresh stuff they had was salad and fruit. We don’t have desert as we just couldn’t continue eating there.
There used to be pizza, garlic bread, fresh shrimp to peel, beef of various sorts, sushi, desserts like Nanaimo bars… none of that was there. Even more I could name, steak, carrot cake, toppings for ice cream, just so much is missing. Including the quality, I’ve never had an issue until today.
We payed about $25 each essentially, not terrible for a buffet. Though, for this one it’s not even close to worth it. We won’t be going again, it was the worst food we’ve ever had.

If there was the ability to put “0” stars I would. $19 for a drink is crazy. For the server to make you grab it yourself rather than serving it to you. Rude rude rude female server. Food is worse than laurentian ghall and way overpriced. 18% gratuity at a buffet? Where all you order from a server is a drink ? Just be prepared to spend more than what it’s worth. Place was cute

Spent 180 for the buffet. Lots of empty dishes if food. I had to complain then refilled. The food was so poor I would never go back again .
I just finished eating here tonight and I had the worst experience. The food was terrible very cold the service was very bad and rude we had the owner serve us I ordered a strawberry daiquiri and my 13 year old daughter ordered a chocolate milk we left the table came back and she put the alcohol drink in front of my daughter good thing I came back to the table before my daughter did. The bathrooms were very disgusting you walk out of that place and you just want to take a shower that's how nasty you feel i will never go there again.

Way over priced for the quality and selections of food available. $36 is outrageous. Food was just your average Chinese buffet deepfried everything. The worst part is the four of us that ate there were all sick that night from the food and it carried on to the next day. Stay away from this place. On a better note, the servers were very polite and friendly. A little slow, but they seamed to be short staffed.

I ordered 2 combination orders and an order of fried beef and green peppers in black bean sauce for delivery...the beef was off and could not Eat it...Nothing tasted the Way it should have...the beef tasted funky to the point I spit it out and threw the whole container in the garbage! Gave some of the chicken to the dog next day my dog was sick and so was I.. .As far as I'm concerned that was NOT FOOD FOR HUMANS AND THIS RESTAURANT SHOULD BE REPORTED TO THE HEALTH BOARD!! The ORIENT is the best place for excellent Chinese food I just didn't want to pay 100.00 ...I HAVE NEVER TASTED FOOD THIS DISGUSTING N MY LIFE....To the owner if you don't care about customers HEALTH you should get out of the restaurant business!! I hope the health BOARD pays you a surprise visit.... I will not eat at this restaurant again $60.00 total waste!

I may have had a reaction to the amount of msg in the food. Before I even left I was sick in the bathroom with diarrhea and later in the evening I had to call an ambulance. I thought I was dying. Apparently I'm sensitive to msg. Either that or its a weird sort of food poisoning but none of my family members became ill.
