Shameful Restaurant – Pure Exploitation!
I had previously visited Okinawa Sushi on another occasion when I did a take-out with a friend, and the experience was decent. However, returning to the city and deciding to finally lunch in turned out to be an absolutely infuriating and exploitative experience.
After placing my order, which ended up being larger than I could finish, I politely asked to take the leftover sushi with me. That’s when the nightmare began. The server, with a cold and dismissive attitude, told me I would need to pay an extra fee to take food I had ALREADY PAID FOR. Yes, you read that right: they wanted to charge me again for food that was already on my plate and paid for!
The excuse? “It’s restaurant policy.” What a primitive and unethical policy! A total slap in the face to any customer. Never, anywhere, have I seen such an abusive and disrespectful practice. I had already paid for my meal—the absolute least any restaurant should do is allow me to take what is mine without attempting to squeeze more money out of me with pathetic excuses.
The worst part? I made a point of paying for what I ate, and as furious as I was, I left the food there. Yes, I paid for something I didn’t even take home, simply because I refuse to be exploited twice by a restaurant that treats its customers like fools. This experience only highlights how low and unscrupulous this place truly is.
I will never return, and I sincerely hope no one else has to endure this humiliation. The food is not worth it, the service is appalling, and the restaurant’s policy is outright robbery. Choose any other place to dine in the city, but avoid this establishment that goes out of its way to exploit and disrespect its customers.
Avoid at all costs!

Decent atmosphere. Food was average, rolls and sushi were good as far as I could tell. Tried their Jalapeno chicken, wasn't hot and it tasted like fish, maybe they use fish sauce? The sesame chicken tasted like crunchy deepfried batter with no chicken. All in all can't complain, decent all you can eat Sushi for northern Canada stick to the rolls.
Wanton soup also tasted off. Yeah I get it you don't go to an all you can eat Japanese restaurant for wonton soup but still... don't put it on the menu if you aren't going to make it right. Even the renowned local wonton places in Niagara put this to shame.

I am in love with their crab(kani) salad, an order it all the time. Last week they came in smaller portions(they were out of regular size containers, but the portions were smaller cause of it)and when I called they totally helped me out. They have amazing service and amazing food. If u haven't ordered the crab(kani) salad you haven't lived. They are amazing and will continue to order 3 a week....just don't change the portion size lol

Ordered food via Skip. Beef with brocoli was great. Spring rolls are frozen and bought from grocery to or M&Ms. Avoid those.

I brought my nephew to eat out for his birthday and they have an all you can eat menu for children that cost 22$ or so, because I didn’t have his birth certificate or health card with me to make sure he was 12 and under, they charged him as an adult! Just letting you guys know, if you want to eat here with your children, make sure you have they’re identification with you! Other than that, food was amazing!! Would definitely come again!

They wouldn’t let my 11 year old niece eat for the child prince since we didn’t have her ID, I am not her mother and i don’t know why I would have her ID with me she’s a child. I am in raged since I hade to pay about 15$ more. PLUS SINCE WHEN ARE 13 YEAR OLDS ADULTS??
