The worst chicken fried rice I’ve ever had that costs 12 dollars plus tax. It’s just rice stir fried with soy sauce and a corner of a chicken breast finely chopped to almost invisible.

Ordered dinner for six and it wasn't too bad although the egg rolls and chicken balls were inedible. They were both over cooked and had been sitting for quite some time! So no! The food is not cooked to order it's cooked then waits! Very disappointed

Ordered Beef Lo Mein and chicken friend rice. Extremely underwhelming. Salty and tasted bland. Never coming back. Was fine a year ago but not anymore.

Ordered the dinner special. The egg rolls, chicken balls and rice was very dry
Terrible customer service Watch your food Found piece of metal in pork dish Informed them then argued about wanting an apology or correction from them Awful treatment for a customer Not their fault lol Threw an order of rice and chicken balls on counter and told to check No apology At all Just lost a customer

Three strikes and you're out!
I've been eating at the orient since it's restaurant was it's own place at the end of Barrydowne in the 1980's. I've always told people that this was the place to go for Chinese food in sudbury. This WAS true until the last year or so. It was starting to go downhill- not as good quality, shortcuts and prices increased (like everywhere else). First time mistake, the teriyaki steaks were a little pungent a few months back. Wrote it off and simply threw them out because their food had always been superb. Second time mistake, ordered their deep fried wings last month. When we got them and they looked skinless, tasted and appeared that they were STRONGLY fermented in soy sauce overnight and were pan fried instead. They were just too salty, grey and gross. This time it was all about the chicken balls. One didn't even have meat in it, the chicken had some foreign objects in it. ( no it was not a blood dot) and the batter had something cooked into it that can only be described as 2 little black protrusions attached at the base. I don't know exactly because I had already eaten most of it. What ever it was, it still didn't belong in the food. I've provided pictures so you be the judge. Sorry Orient but this time I HAD to say something.

One of the better places for some greasy Chinese food in sudbury. Egg rolls were full and good. Chicken balls lots of meat in them. Beef and broccoli was more broccoli then beef. Goo loo pork was a little soggy. Teriyaki beef was good. All in all food was good would get again.
Nothing special, worst egg rolls I’ve ever had, had barely any filling

Not there for the ambiance! Amazing food!! I'm Mr Lo mein! I live out of town and I'll always buy from the Orient! Thank you again for providing a great dinner!

Does not compare to the Regent location. General Tao is chicken balls with spicy sweet and sour sauce now? Don’t recommend patronizing Sudbury (or Canadian) businesses anymore. Prices too high, quality too low.
