Our server was Greg this evening. He’s absolutely amazing. We were a group of 9 for a birthday party , Guys in specific. One of the children in our group had a dairy allergy - he was fast, caring and knew what was dairy free. We have went to multiplerestaurants in sudbury, and this was by far the BEST place eat. Again, thank you, Greg. I highlyrecommend you ask for Greg to serve you.

4 of us ate here the evening of April 18th. We frequent another local restaurant but wanted something different this time, as it was a special occasion.Service was amazing. We were greeted quickly and sat right away. Our server was very friendly, funny, and the right amount of attentive. She was patient while we waited for the other 2 to join us.The table we were sat at was so dark that we all had to use our phones to see the menus. None of us are over 50, so our eyes are not that bad yet. It was just extremely dark. The table was near the bathrooms, in a spot that in a way made it look like it didn't belong there. My wife had a chicken caesar salad. She didn't think much of it, but the chicken was cooked nicely. She said it was lacking flavour (needed more dressing maybe?). I had the special, which was a bone-in version of the signature dish from their regular menu, chicken asiago al forno. The chicken was dry. So dry that I was wishing there was a lot more mushroom marsala sauce to dip it in. I looked at photos others have posted and found one of this dish, it had at least 4 times the amount of sauce I had on my plate. The stuffing was bitter and underwhelming. I think it lacked cheese, but it was too dark to really see. I felt the chicken and stuffing lacked salt. The veggies were cooked nicely, I enjoyed them. The potatoes (the reason I got the special) were extremely delicious. Those need to go on their regular menu. Like damn.I didn't say anything that night because we were there with friends and didn't want to make things awkward. That's on me. I've been (infrequently) coming to this restaurant for over 25 years. I've never had a meal that disappointed me, but I can't recall having a meal that made me want to rush back again. We will be back. As long as the next experience is better I will make a point of updating my review. But it's not like this 3 star review will make a difference in the high rating this restaurant has!It would be nice if the restaurant carried a dark beer on tap. A stout would be great, but even a porter or brown ale would be excellent.

April 18, 2024, went out for a celebratory dinner. I usually know what I want, but this time the special sounded "special". Chicken breasts stuffed with cheese and spinach, vegetables, (don't know what the potatoes were called because our server couldn't pronounce the name ?) and gravy.I realize that sometimes specials can be hit or miss and in this case ~ it was a miss. Chicken breasts were dry and stuffed with an enormous amount of spinach and I didn't detect any cheese. Nevertheless, to try and save my dinner, I asked for some extra gravy. I received a meager amount of gravy, maybe an ounce?Long story short ~ the gravy did little to combat the dryness. At that point, I just gave up eating. You couldn't tell I had even touched the gravy. When the cheque came, I was charged $4.00 for the "extra" gravy. I said to the server the only reason I ordered the gravy was to make the special palatable! She advised that she had spoken to her manager and was told to charge for the gravy.Pat and Mario's or now known as P. & M's Kouzzina has been making money hand over fist for more years than I can count. I suppose charging for gravy has really impacted their profits.

Hopefully the owners are conservative because if there is another price increase I'm done. Always excellent service and great food but I simply cant justify the price.

If there was the ability to create reservations, I would rate 5. We waited 45+ minutes to have our party of 11 seated for lunch. Not conducive for work lunches.

Brilliant dinner this evening with friends! Joelle assisted us with our decisions and we’re so glad we accepted her recommendations! Our Husband’s “Whistler’s Woods’ were such lovely surprises, thank you for suggesting them, it felt like a prelude to our camping season! Lunch, dinner, never disappointing, always delicious and beautifully presented! Thank you, Kouzzina, thank you, Joelle for adding such warmth to our evening!

Although their menu has gotten smaller over there years, the quality, service and atmosphere are still top notch. Incredible flavors seldomly found at other restaurants. Service is comparable to 5 star restaurants down south.
