I was in a cast using a walker. All staff helped me out including accompaning me to the bathroom to move chairs etc. It would be helpful if there was a door opening button so I didn't have to rely on the kind staff

The food was amazing. We loved the place.

Wow…is it still bad manners to lick the plate clean?

After 3 severely disappointing meals here in Sudbury, we asked for a recommendation from hotel staff, figuring locals will know the spots to go. This was definitely the right choice!

At first glance, it was a busy loud place, but packed to the brim, which is always a good sign.

We were seated in the back room, a dark but charming area, full of little rustic touches and nostalgia. Our waitress Amy was amazing throughout our visit (Koodos !) and so knowledgeable about the menu, and the little ‘secrets ‘ that make the food so good.

Good does not do this food justice.

While awaiting our own meals, we watched as plates were served around us, and they all looked so appetizing we were already getting our hopes up. We were not disappointed.

The chicken wing starter was hot, fresh and crispy (some of the best we’ve ever had at a restaurant) served ‘salt and pepper’ with dips on the side, yum!

My meal, the Ribeye ‘Fiorentina’ was served on a bed of kidney beans in a sauce my Nona would be proud of. The steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned (as full as I am, my mouth is watering thinking of it!)

Hubby had the Rustic Ribs, a dry roast rib that was anything but. Tender, and seasoned wonderfully, Amy tells us the secret is a toss in wine vinegar (who knew?)

The side of Zia’s beans, we’re tender-crisp, topped with cheese…a wonderful addition .

If you’re ever in the Sudbury area, or just looking for an amazing meal, run (don’t walk) over to *Respect is Burning * you won’t regret it!
(Cross-posted it was THAT good)

We just got back to our hotel from dinner. Simply amazing A+ experience. Our server Amy was friendly and quick and actually knew how the food was prepped. We had the wings for starter and they were fantastic. Easily in my top 10 ever. The bread was wonderful and our mains of the ribeye and rustic ribs were flawless and delicious. The ambience was both classic and a little funky in a really nice balance. The vibe was great, music was good and not overpowering. It was loud, but exactly what you should expect from a family Italian eatery. Presentation, execution and quality were all spot on. I’m only sad it’s over and I didn’t get to try everything else I saw and smelled coming from the kitchen. 5 stars , A+, Would recommend. If you visit Sudbury and don’t make time for a meal here, you’ve wasted a trip.

The day never goes bad when you have good food. Thanks to Chef Vish for providing one of the best steaks. After a long time had a tastiest steak cooked to perfection. Adding to that Audrey made the day even more beautiful with her wonderful service. Thanks to both of you for the wonderful food and amazing service. 👍🏻👍🏻

Great Italian restaurant! Large portion sizes, extremely generous wine pours. Get the deep woods bruschetta!

ordered a pizza to go. was doing a paint night. 1st one was burnt, this was the 2nd offering. ugh waste of 30$ sadly can't post a pic :(
UPDATE the restaurant contacted me and offered a gift certificate to replace the cost of the pizza 🍕👍

Great atmosphere, delicious food with huge portions. Low rating on service because we have attempted to make reservations a number of times since & even though we get through we are put on hold literally for over 30 mins with still no one taking our call ,even when hanging up & trying again will be put on hold again. Just showing up on a Friday or Saturday night will land you at least 1 hr wait . No win .

If you haven’t had good Italian it’s ok. But the service was lacking as they are not staffed well or servers are not trains well. But they tried. For this town it’s ok.

Presentation of the food was good

I can’t recommend anything really because what I had was meh.

I Had the beef carpaccio- the olive oil was blah and they had a dressing that was on it that made the dish acidic.
I don’t recommend

I had the mushrooms salad - I wish the mushrooms were warm. They tasted like the pre made them and sat out.
Also have the same dressing as the beef carpaccio. I don’t recommend

The pasta was safe
Nothing to remember

The Negroni was good. 👍🏽

I would have ordered more but I wanted to leave. Went elsewhere for coffee and desert.

Too bad because the space was nice.

I had the crispy mushroom salad as a take away dinner for myself. This may be the most delicious salad that I’ve ever eaten. The flavours and texture are bold and delicious! It was the perfect amount for meal and would have been wonderful to share with friends as an app. Service was great. Takeout was easy. Definitely recommend.

Took my wife and her friend out there before the concert and was not disappointed. Although pricey, the quality of the food and service you get is second to none. Was a bit confused on why they had everyone stand at the door when you first entered, although there were plenty of tables available and had reservations. I guess it's just their thing. Great experience overall. It gets busy and loud, but it's to be expected from an Italian eatery.

Had an amazing night out with my friend, even though our server Audrey was new she provided excellent service, first course arrived extremely quick, main course followed up with efficient timing, been to many restaurants and the quality of these dishes outclassed almost all of them, had the pleasure of meeting the owner and his dedication and passion for his restaurant and what he created excelled all my expectations, the food and my requested wine pairing was flawless and complimented my dish very well, truly a taste of the creators nostalgia and my own nostalgia of home cooked meals from the old country, I would highly recommend, the service, quality and inviting atmosphere speaks for itself, hands down 10/10

Hands down, best restaurant in Sudbury. Great selection of food and drinks. Prices are incredibly good for this level of quality. The service is always good and the atmosphere is perfect for anything from friends to date nights. Something to take note here compared to certain other restaurants in the city that are often recommended; tables have some space between them so you don’t feel like you’re having a meal with the next table over. This makes for a great dining experience. This is the place I recommend to my out of town friends and colleagues.
