I had a wonderful experience at Taj Bistro. The food was delicious, fresh, and full of authentic flavour. The service was excellent, especially from Himanshi. I’ve always loved the food from here however today I’m very disappointed. I had ordered chicken biriyani and it was the poorest quality I’ve ever seen. The rice smelled and tasted like soap and the fried onions smelled and tasted so stale like they were very old. I could smell the old oil in it. I knew and expected to Taj to be great but now I’m not so sure.

I had horrible experience eating at couple of places in Sudbury. While returning back to toronto we thought of buying take out sandwiches from Taj bistro. I cannot say it enough how good it was. All my disappointment with food was gone. They also made very good tea on the spot. I will not look elsewhere for food whenever I return to Sudbury.

I went there to eat and asked for a table by the window. The restaurant was completely empty, yet they refused. They really need to work on their customer service, at the very least, they could say no politely. Restaurant is not welcoming!
