Greasiest most ghetto bar in Sudbury, the bar tender is god awful. Disrespectful, crotchety, unbelievably rude. Did not allow us close the door to the women’s washroom and some older man was watching me and told me he could see me in there. When me and my girlfriend went back in later on we closed the door as we wanted privacy. The door was ripped open and the bar tender freaked out on us. We could see right into the men’s washrooms and see men using the urinals as well. Ever weird. Then this stranger older man was making my girl friend and I uncomfortable. He was alone hovering over us and when my friend tried to move the chair beside him so I could be next to the group rather than some guy who had ample room on his other side. When I asked him if he could move over he started yelling aggressively in my face. I kept saying all you need to do is just move over. For some reason the bartender got involved and when I said the man was making me uncomfortable and invading my personal space the bartender kicked my friend and I out and said how DARE we ask her best customer to move over. She was literally screaming at us. At that point I was fed up. She was snarky from the minute I walked in and had it out for me because I accidentally forgot my Id which I had no problem going back home and getting and totally had no clue I didn’t have it on me. When I came back with it she went on a huge rant with a ton of attitude which was really strange and excessive to me. After the washroom incident she stopped taking our order and would just leave our drinks on the side of the bar in front of the man who had easy access and could’ve easily put something in them. The absolute worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. The absolute worst bar I’ve ever gone too in this city by far. I’ve never experienced anything like this and have never been treated like this by anyone in the service industry. Shame on this establishment. I definitely felt unsafe and uncomfortable here. I DO NOT recommend going to this dump.
So I wasn't mind blown. They had 2 fishbowls the whole night. Yet advertised Friday as fishbowl night. That's fine. The bar waitress, mmm, when I showed up at 9, I ordered a fishbowl. She was kinda snippy. I understand we all have bad days. Try not to take it out on new people coming in.
