Verdicchio used to be a “go to” place for us for a fine dining night. We still enjoy the food but the atmosphere inside is more open, loud and modern than it used to be. I booked a reservation months in advance for our 20th anniversary in the small Private wine cellar room and only when we arrived were told that it wasn’t available and given a free dessert instead. True Italian cuisine. Very well done in an every aspect. Food was great (we had 3 appetizers and the salmon and veal for mains). Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. We felt really welcome by everyone. Great experience, will be back.
If I could give it more than five stars I would. Verdicchio is an amazing place for Italian food. It was so good, we actually went back the next day, and it somehow was even better. If you are looking for an excellent dining experience in Sudbury, do not hesitate to come here (more than once!). The food was amazing, the service impeccable. There is nothing bad I can say about this restaurant and will be returning at my first opportunity.
