The view from the balcony is beautiful and it’s a great place to sit when the weather is nice. The server is usually friendly, however when I didn’t finish my meal, on one occasion she said that the cook’s feelings would be hurt if I did not take my leftovers home. I thought this was a strange thing to say. The food is generally good, but expensive. The restaurant and patio space are quite crowded; not easily accessible for people with disabilities: the washrooms are only accessible by stairs, chairs and decorations make are close to the top of the stairs, which is a fall hazard. The stairs at the front of the restaurant have been difficult to navigate at times, because of a chair with a sign partially blocking the entranceway and a large rock on the stairs. The rock was removed, after a patron fell, but the owner’s response was to blame the customer, by saying he just missed the step. This response was very disappointing. I will not be returning.Wheelchair accessibility: This restaurant is not wheelchair accessible, nor for persons with a vision impairment.

My partner and I came here during a weekend while at Deer Lake Wilderness Retreat. Our server was very friendly and loved chatting with her.Our wings were hot and juicy. Honestly top-tier. Shrimp basket was great. Nicely fried. Cauliflower bites were ok! Not the best but not the worst!Thanks for making our evening great!

Sat out on the patio two days in a row with our dog and this place is just magnificent. My wife and I are classic snobby toronto people and this place didn't disappoint. Run by two fantastic hardworking women, this place has phenomenal food, great service and an atmosphere that makes you feel like a local.

Be sure to ask for prices on the "baked" goods - we stopped by to pick up a few desserts and were shocked when given our bill - 2 butter tarts (not sure which grocery store they were from) and they were $4.35 each, a blueberry muffin - $4.35 and a pastry with pears and almond paste was $9.99. Shocking.....
