I’ve been here a couple times now. This is their Canadian Girl sandwich. Turkey with Swiss on homemade whole grain bread.
The apple butter is a nice sweet flavour.
Well done.

This place is very good, I had the Friday special lasagna and ceaser salad, the lasagna was probably the best lasagna I have ever had. The ceaser salad was amazing aswell. As for the butter tarts I tried the pecan butter tart it was one of the best I have ever had, my father had the same as me and he is a judge at the butter tart festival in Midland Ontario and he said that it was on the top 5 best butter tarts he's had

We love stopping here for lunch on our way home from Grand Bend. Amazing homecooked food. The owners are so nice and so great with our kids. It is truly a special place.

As a newcomer to Tavistock, I was thrilled to discover D&D Homestyle Cuisine & Cafe! I wandered in one day and was warmly greeted by both Diane and Douglas who are the D & D and soul of this cafe gem. Fresh, local ingredients comprise the homemade soups, baked goods and other menu items. Diane's award winning butter tarts are swoon worthy, yet I confess a passion for her carrot cake too! Next time you are in town do stop in, for a meal, a smile and a bit of hometown charm!!

D&D's is a staple of Tavistock! Located at the five corners, stop in for coffee or a delicious sandwich. Diane's award winning Butter Tarts are also a 'must get'.
Try The Celtic on a whole wheat wrap!

Amazing quality food and portion size is good. The staff are all amazing also. We ordered sandwiches, soups and salads as well as the desserts that they offer. Carrot cake and the butter tarts are so good. Enjoy supporting a small local business.
