We were at Quehl’s today with a bus trip. The banquet room was all set up when we arrived. The servers were kind and.helpful. My daughter needed a special meal & I contacted Brian & Cindy well ahead and her meal was just perfect. Delicious food, great staff & the extra effort to accommodate made our visit an absolute delight. Thank you so much.

Went recently with a friend for breakfast; arrived at 10:45, didn't get our order until 11:30; a couple beside us arrived 15 min after we did, had their order before us and were halfway through theirs before ours arrived; and my friend had ordered only toast and coffee, whilst mine was just a small breakfast plate. Disappointing.

I stopped in with a couple friends passing through tavistock the other day. I tried almost everything offered at the buffet and enjoyed everything I tried. I haven’t been able to stop thinking about the fried chicken, will have to make another trip soon. The closest thing to a home cooked meal, this place is a hidden jem.

Positive side: they have the Ambrosia salad I grew up with! And rice pudding! Downside: they don't keep the meat in gravy for the buffet, they use water- it dilutes the flavour of the roast beef. The turkey and ham are good, though! Always horseradish and cranberry sauce! Anything pickled is mixed with sugar. The pies and desserts are always awesome, though. Good coffee!

We gave this a 6 out of 10. Pop came to you in a can, not even cold, you get a glass with one ice cube with the pop. The water was straight out of the tap, no ice, not even cold. Waitress was pleasant and quick to clean your buffet plates. Food was average, had to add salt and pepper for flavor, deserts were tasty. I doubt we would be returning here.

Came for a friend's birthday, for the Sunday buffet. Had to wait for a spot but wasn't too long. Got the salad bar first, not much to choose from. Pickles were the best from it. Onto the main, lots of choice. Food was hot and fresh and always topped up. Turkey and beef were so tender and moist and the gravy was amazing!! I was too full for dessert, but they had lots of selection which looked good. Staff were efficient and friendly. Good place to go for a home cooked comfort meal.
