Went through the drive-thru to order two Piri burgers and was given the wrong items. Mistakes can happen — that part isn’t the issue.
The problem started when we went back to politely point it out. Instead of apologizing or fixing it, the staff became rude, dismissive, and argumentative. We were bluntly told that we could “complain to the manager” and that there was “they are human-nothing wrong with giving the wrong items.”
That attitude is completely unacceptable in any customer-facing role. Owning a mistake and correcting it is basic customer service — not acting like the customer is the problem.
No apology. No accountability. Just arrogance.

I went to the A&W on Manning. It was at night and I was starving. I figured that I hadn’t been there for a while, it would be a nice change. I wasn’t disappointed! Simran was so friendly! Very patient when I was reading the menu. The restaurant was very clean and the food was hot and fast. I would recommend this location above any other A&W location; partly because the staff was so nice.
